Comments about SIT Strings S1052 Heavy Bottom Power Wound Nickel Electric Guitar Strings:
These strings are smooth-feeling and smooth-playing with chewy dynamics.
The wound strings sound great in the low-end, but also have an excellent brightness and clarity. There is also a present 'growl' that you'll enjoy for the life of the strings.
The unwound strings allow for silky and articulate soloing.
Great strings for stronger lows and highs. These strings drive my import guitars' wood nicely and this allows for better tone and sustain.
These are my favorite strings to date and I've tried most of the brands that Musician's Friend carries. Give them a try if you like what you've read about these strings.
Oh, yeah! How could I forget - these strings are some of the best at keeping their tune (especially if there's no slippage at your tuners and they're properly wrapped around the tuning post).
