Comments about 1SKB-R6020W Roto Molded 88-Note Keyboard Case:

I only decided to write a review after reading several negative reviews for this product. I've had this case for around 6 or 7 years, and I've never experienced any issues hauling my Korg TR-88. My keyboard fits nicely in the case, and has never been damaged by the case itself, or even during transport. This case has been great for me!

A good case .. light and strong

    By John Curtis

Comments about 1SKB-R6020W Roto Molded 88-Note Keyboard Case:

If you want a lightweight case that's also strong (i.e. NOT cloth) then you really should look at this case.
The case itself is easy to manage, open, latch and transport. I've used it for a Yamaha S80, S90ES and MOTIF XS, having to move the inside grips for the Motif. But it's worked flawlessly.

It beats the heck out of the airplane-grade cases, where just carrying the case breaks your back.
Nothing has broken, nothing has failed.
Really, for the money, are you kidding? I'd buy it again. I'd give it to other people.

    Not worth the money

    SKB ROTO 88 TSA

I can't believe the horrible quality of this case. It's a rickety piece of junk. The latches don't work without some banging around, there is virtually no ridgidity to the sides of the case. The handles are on the wrong side of the case... try picking up 100 lbs with the handle facing the ground. I'm returning it.

    Didn't keep it

    By steelcitypiano

Comments about 1SKB-R6020W Roto Molded 88-Note Keyboard Case:

You would think that a case at this price would protect your valuable investment. I have a Yamaha CP33, which was a tough squeeze to get it in in the first place. My keyboard is a slim keyboard, so why would there be any trouble on a regular size 88 case with velcro moldings to custom fit it? The reason I returned it, was that the first time taking it out of the case I noticed 4 huge scratches on the front of my brand new keyboard. SKB's design on this was so terrible, that they left all the heads of the screws holding the latches in place completely exposed to the front of your keyboard. Who's genius idea was this? Needless to say... I didn't keep the case.

    Piece of junk!!

Comments about 1SKB-R6020W Roto Molded 88-Note Keyboard Case:

Got this case for my Roland RD-700GX. Cheap velcro pieces that hold the keyboard in place. The latches are starting to give me trouble already. I have only have this case for about 2 months, and I have not used it that much. I thought SKB was supposed to be a great brand. It certinally doesn't show in this product.

    Be cautious of advertising

    By Bill-Jc.Vn

Comments about 1SKB-R6020W Roto Molded 88-Note Keyboard Case:

Bought this case because I have a Yamaha CP 300 and the actual ad for this case shows that exact instrument inside the case. However it does not close properly as the case is not deep enough. Pretty sad state of affairs. My review would have been excellent if my piano had in fact, been able to fit inside with the case closed.Bill
