The SKB speaker case for Bose L1 and L1 Model II is made of high density polyethylene (HDPE) that exceeds the ATA category 300 light specification. The latches are made of virtually unbreakable fiberglass reinforced nylon and the case incorporates the world's only TSA accepted and recognized locking latch system.
The foam has removable blocks that provide the perfect fit for either the original L1 speakers or the new L1 Model II version. A matching L1 Model II pedestal case is available.

I have used the Bose PAS system for the past 7 years and it's still going strong because I got wise and bought this case when it first came available. The Bose is not fragile but the nylon cases just made life miserable trying to get to and from a gig without the risk of damaging the towers. My group runs two full PAS systems from a small mixer for the whole 4-5 piece band in small to medium venues (indoors and out.) At 30-50 gigs a year, the traveling takes a toll. The case is solid, well made, lockable, moveable with sturdy wheels and handles, and indispensable. Nobody likes to have to spend more money on something they can't play, but this is more of an insurance premium that you only have to pay once. Buy it.

One piece is easier to haul than two. This case stacks easily on top of other SKB cases I use for my keyboards--which makes it easier to haul on a wheeled cart when loading in. Tradeoffs pretty obvious--it is heavy, and because of its size, it takes up more space in a vehicles cargo zone than the two pieces it is protecting. If you've got a vehicle big enough to swallow this case, it's a good piece of gear to own.

The BOSE L1 M2 is an expensive PA system and needs the right case to protect it during events. I used to need a few hands to help me carefully pack it in the original zipper case that is provided by BOSE. The SKB Case is quick to pack and cart out and snugly secures the towers. I have 2 L1M2 and have cases for both. Best investment for your pricey speakers.

If you are going to spend the money on a Bose (which is at the upper end, but for the sound you get- you will make it all back if you can play any good!) you have got to protect that investment! This is a MUST-have accessory! I'm looking into the case for the base, but I think I will want more foam than the current offering has. This one for the speaker pole pieces, however, has PLENTY of foam and is well-designed.
Has nice latches, good foam and hard foam lining. Does exactly what it's supposed to do- protect your investment.
Really good. The only cases I've seen better are the ones we used in the Army for our missile equipment, but those probably cost 10x more than this does. You could sit on this and it would support you. Does it's job and way better than the duffel bags that the bose pole pieces come in!
I got a scratch n dent- no real damage- just light scuffs in one or two spots. At any music store it would have been sold as "new." Free shipping. Great service. Best prices. This is why local places are going out of business- because Musiciansfriend is doing what they are supposed to be doing- providing great deals with zero hassle. This case would cost more locally, if I could even find it.

Along with the speaker case I have the Power stand case too and life is good now that I don't have to worry if things will get beat up in transit or when someone else takes them out of, or puts them in, my SUV. If you pay 3 grand for something you want to protect it so, this should not be a big deal. Thanx SKB and Musicians Friend
The case is a little big but, protection is the most feature important when it comes to these speakers, the wheels are GREAT

I paid 3000 for my system and this makes me let it leave the house. Super bomber cases with wheels! Did a gig today at a street festival and had a long way to walk/set up. The wheels were awesome. As well as not as many pieces to carry.
