It would hold a standard amp!!! How can you sell it as a dj carrying case
It wouldn't hold a stard dj case??? And I had to pay 20.00 to ship it back, i think since it's not presented properly Musicians Friends should reimburse me for the cost

I have been DJing now for about 2 years. I bought this DJ shuttle about a year ago for my new starting level DJ equipment (gemini DJ mixer, numark cd player, and a pyramid power amp). This case works perfectly as far as I'm concerned. No it doesn't have a hard top on it, but as long as you're not stupid and put heavy objects on it, you'll be fine. The case itself I wouldn't hesitate throwing off a house it's so sturdy. If you need a nice case without breaking the bank, this is the one for you.

I have used my DJ Shuttle for 2 years now, and it has been a great purchase. Although it has a soft cover, I've found that it suffices just fine for my uses. Very sturdy unbreakable case.

How this product got ten out of ten so far is amazing. You might as well wrap your gear in saran wrap. It said "entry level" but it should have said, "Stuff you don't care about at all." The SOFT top is like the back of a lightly padded back pack and it snaps on. Even with nothing in it it would automatically pop off after a few seconds. The EMU drum machine I was putting in it had knobs that made it so it wouldn't close at all and they're not very tall. I've got 2 other skb racks and have no problems with them, but this thing STINKS!

In theory this product should be great. But you don't really get what is advertised, depending on what you're using it for. I wanted to use it (as I did the other one I own and it works fine because I have 4 spaces not used) to house my DJ equipment. It contained more than enough space to hold what I wanted and I'd have room left for a 2 space rack unit. Sounds good? Well, not really. The mixer needs to go up top. Since the mixer I use (Numark 1090X), and I assume most mixers, have their inputs and outputs in the back of the unit, the mixer needs to go all the way in the back of the case. BUT IT CAN'T! Because of a design flaw you can't put it all the way to the back because you won't be able to get your cables in because the back of the case is then too close. You have to move the mixer down a space to make room therefore losing the rack space that it supposed to offer. I tried my equipment in several combos and couldn't get them to fit in a way where it made sense. Along with the mixer and CD controller, I also have a light controller that should be up top. BUT IT CAN'T because of the design flaw! I would of had to of put my power conditioner up top to get it all to fit and a power conditioner up top is just plain stupid and a BIG PAIN! Now I have to return the shuttle a spend $30 more on the station. It just makes me mad that I shouldn't have to do that (let alone waste all that time trying to configure my equipment to MAKE it work in the shuttle). The quality is great though, but I'm just disappointed that I don't get what I should be able to.
