This case fits my Martin LXM just fine. It's a tiny bit snug at the bottom but that should help keep things from knocking around. It looks well-made, closes tightly, has no obvious defects, and feels solid. My case shows no sign of the gaps that another reviewer noted. The plush inside isn't terribly soft or rich but it should do the trick.
My only complaints are that the internal compartment is just a bit too small to hold a packet of guitar strings (seriously, why not make it 1cm larger?); and there are only 3 latches, with the top two fairly close together, and if the bottom one gets popped, there's not much holding the case closed. (The locking latch is at the middle.)
Overall, it's pretty much what I expected. No regrets here. Perfect for when I'm afraid I might have to check my travel guitar. Not really that much bigger than a gig bag, either.

I just got this case today for my Mini Martin. The lid and base don't line up, two of the three latches are not lining up right and their connection to the case is bent out. The handle has the same issue - poor attachement. The case had several SMALL dents around the aluminum rim. To top it off, the SKB sticker was half hanging off. Don't have time to send it back before a road trip. Just have to live with it. Totally disappointed. Not worth the money. Not like the SKB I have for my Dreadnaught. Stick with your gig bag!

I purchased this case for my Alvarez MSD1 to protect it when traveling. This is one fine case. The cover opens and closes easily, the latches latch tight and the hinges are tight. A small modification is needed for the Alvarez MSD1. You must take a small pair of pliers and compress the foam where the end pin goes so the guitar can slide down into the case. That's it. You are getting a great case for the price.

I bought this case from Musician?s Friend for my Little Martin LX1E because I did not like the gig bag that came with it or any gig bag for that matter. I was unsure that it would fit correctly because it is for a Baby Taylor. At first this seems to be true. The padding where the neck heel rests was too thick. All you have to do is stretch this area with your fingers until it makes a pocket and the guitar will fit nice and tight. After the case breaks in a little bit, it is a perfect fit! The picture M.F. has up is the wrong one. It is a much nicer case than the one shown and you can find a picture of it on SKB?s website. This case is as nice as any full size case and I would recommend it to anyone doing serious traveling and like me, does not trust a gig bag.:-)
