Fender MIJ and MIM guitars come with a gig bag rather than a case. So, when I bought my MIJ Strat XII 12-string electric it deserved a case instead of the gig bag. I first tried a G&G-made Fender-branded Strat case, but it would not adequately accommodate the headstock. I was able to fit my Squier VM Thinline Tele in the G&G, but still needed a case for Strat XII. Next, I purchased one of these SKB FS6 cases from MF. Glad I did: this SKB case holds my Strat XII like it was custom-made for it! I m so pleased that yesterday I purchased another from MF for a new MIM Tele since it also just came with a gig bag. So, ditch the gig bag and buy this case! Your Fender Tele or Start deserves it.As others have noted, it s well-built, sturdy, lightweight and easier to carry than a rectangular case.Pricey, but you get what you pay for: a well-made rugged case.

It is a small case so don't expect a lot of room. There is enough room inside for strap, tuner and strings.

It is a small case so don't expect a lot of room. There is enough room inside for strap, tuner and strings.
There is a popping noise at the rear, center hinge when closing the case. I believe that the extruded aluminum perimeter is out of alignment (case is brand new, never opened from China) and or the hinge is mounted slightly off... Very tight fit with Squire classic vibe strat; also, doesn't quite seem right; won't seat all the way down into the case.
Overpriced.

My Telecaster Thinline came with a gig bag so I had to find a hard shell case that was both affordable and excellent quality. This guitar case fits my Tele great. It appears to be of excellent workmanship and it was less really affordable. I definitely recommend this guitar case.

The only reason I would score it a 10 is because I need to remove the guitar strap so that everything fits in well. Not a big deal though.
Nice latches, lock, handle. Storage compartment inside too. This case was purchased for my Hell Guitar Zero Dot model--Strat style guitar.
The guitar fits nicely and is held securely.
Rugged and well made. Excellent product.
Hard/impossible to find something this good at this price in a quality guitar case. I would definitely buy another SKB product.

Needed a hard case for my MIJ Strat XII. The G&G "vintage" case didn't fit; too short (so I used the G&G for my Squier VM Thinline Tele). This SKB hold my Strat XII just fine. A bit pricey, but it does the job.

I got this case to hold my warmoth telecaster. It fits wonderfully and feels so solid I wouldn't think twice about sending it flying discus-style (minus my guitar of course). The only complaint I have is that the storage compartment is kind of small. But on the other hand the case is made to be compact, so it's a trade off. The locks are ridiculously overbuilt and though the key is still pretty generic even it is more solid than really needed.
