I am in charge of audio equipment at a small school. I had them purchase a Gig Rig to hold some new audio equipment several months ago. Good product. Only two things bother me - the velcro that holds the mixer and the locking mechanism. Forget about moving your mixer after you mount it on the velcro pad, and don't be fooled into thinking that this unit's lock will protect your gear!

This Gig Rig is the answer for my 5 year dream I've had for my Mackie CFX12 mixer which doesn't have any rack mounting kit available for it. You can buy cheaper combo cases, but none with a pop-up velcro board and the SKB warranty. I also got the Gig Wings (so simple to attach) to hold a cd player and 5 ch. mixer (drums). SKB stands by their cases. The only cases I use to protect my valuable gear.

This product is great for the budgeted sound tech/DJ. Everything you need can fit into this gig rig and you move it and you have all your stuff. No more making 10-20 trips for all your equipment. Please note it will take 2 people to move.
