I would always tell friends, family or customers to purchase this case. It's strong, reliable and just perfect for 335's, especially Epiphone's. This is one of the only cases on the market that fit Dot's perfectly, due to the abnormally large headstock shape and size. If you own a Gibson or Epiphone case, upgrade to this one. Worth every penny.
This case is absolutely perfect for an Epiphone Dot. I am a Luthier by trade, and my guitar began to warp in the middle of the neck because of an ill shaped case. As soon as I placed my Epiphone into this case, within 3 days, the warp disappered. As a Luthier, I strongly suggest anyone who has a Dot to buy this case. Well worth the money
THis case is as solid as a rock. Made from military grade materials, you can throw it down a set of stairs and not have an issue. Looks and feels great when carrying as wel.
Price is not an issue for me when it comes to cases, because of such issues that come with ill shaped cases or just cheap ones that can severly damage your guitar from small accedents. In short, the value is quite tremendous.

My dad bought me this case 5 months and i must say,the case resists bangs and scratches but not at a great scale. The reason i say this is beacause some jerk at school tipped it over and ES-335 broke inside the case other than that the case is perfectly crafted and it keeps your guitar sealed inside without it wabbling around.

Have had this case for 5 years now for my Epiphone Riviera. It fits like a glove just like the case was made for the guitar. The case has a few scuffs on the outside from use, but the guitar has never moved once in the case. Worth the money. Buy it. You will be satisfied.

Have another SKB for my Les Paul. Same as above-it fits perfect. Worth every penny.

Comments about SKB Thin Body Semi-Hollow Guitar Case:

I purchased a Fender Starcaster Semi Hollow guitar and Fender doesn't make a case for it. They do make a gigbag but that isn't actually the best solution in my opinion. I wanted something a little more heavy duty. After talking with several experts who assured me this case wouldn't work with a Fender Starcaster, well I got the case anyways. The Starcaster fits nicely in the case. It is heavy duty and I am confident the guitar is protected now.

I bought the case for a 1970's vintage Yamaha semi-hollow body, and I could not be happier with the quality of the case - the guitar fits like a glove. Fit and finish on the case itself are very good, and the latches and hinges are quite sturdy.

Fit my Montage like a glove - except it wouldn't close

Comments about SKB Thin Body Semi-Hollow Guitar Case:

I bought this for my Ibanez Montage based on dimensions, and when I laid the guitar in the case, it was absolutely a perfect fit. Only problem was the pickup selector switch keeps the case from closing. If you want to use this for a guitar other than the ES335, consider the placement of pickup selector switches. Too bad they didn't leave spaces in the lid in areas where switches are commonly placed, so as to make the case suitable for more guitar models of identical size.

                  Doesn't fit

Comments about SKB Thin Body Semi-Hollow Guitar Case:

I bought this case for my Tokai LS-120, which is an exact copy of a Gibson ES-335. This case doesn't accomodate the steep angle of the headstock. In fact, the tip of the headstock rests on the bottom of the case unless you prop up the neck with something, which I did(socks). I suspect that's how the other reviewer's guitar got broken inside the case. I bought this because of SKB's great reputation, and their LP case fits my Tokai LP like a glove, with the same headstock angle. I don't know what happened when they designed this case but I'm sorely disappointed.
