I've been drumming for over 30 years . In that time I've used nothing but top of the line stuff . When we had to get a kit for church I gave up one of my Pearl kits and bought 3 of these stands to go with it . I hit hard at church as I do when I play out . And these things can take all I dish out ! I put a 22" ride on one and it's holding up like the expensive stands that I use on my gigs! Two sections only, but they'll go as high as you'll ever need. If the boom twists on you, here's a tip... use some sandpaper where the boom meets the wing nut, the rough surface grips better than a smooth one. Buy these , they won't let you down and you can use the money you save where it really counts... on a good snare drum! I'll be getting 4 more of these for the other kits that I have.

Sonor mini boom

By 22

from Bend, OR

I have been using the Sonor mini boom stand for 5 yrs now and it has been great. I wish it had only cost me the price it's at now though. I use it for my 16 crash and have never had a problem.

One killer cymbal stand

I wouldn't want to hang anything much beyond 20" on it, but that's just me being cautious. I bought 2 of these to go with a recently acquired set, put a 16" crash on 1 and an 18" china on the other. Bottom line for me is that these are solid stands, highly adjustable, and once set, they stay set. I couldn't be happier, and when I compare them to others costing twice as much, they meet and often exceed them. You will not be unhappy with these stands.

Awesome Stand

By Bobacwrd

from Reseda, CA.

I bought this stand when I was looking for outfitting a newly purchased kit with hardware. I wanted to get double braced stuff in the medium or heavy guage range. I guess they would consider this stand a medium weight stand but it rivals some of my stands that are rated as heavyweight. This stand is solid, looks great, and well woth the money. I bought three. If you compare to others like the PDP 700's in the same price range, this stand is by far the better purchase.

Excellent.

I got my first one of with a free promo. I've bought another since then. Dunno what is supposed to be "mini" about this stand, other than the fact that the vertical part has only two tubes as opposed to three. So, yeah, that may take away some potential height. But I'd venture to say this stand will get as tall as most would want. The dbl. braced legs are sturdy, the tilter is good. And it doesn't wobble. I have a 16" crash PLUS a boom arm with a 10" splash mounted on one and it hangs right in there. For this price, it can't be beat.
