The fit and finish of the solid wood is smooth and precise: 4.5/5. I had no issues have the holes for screws line up and the raw wood is sanded smooth almost everywhere safe for a few spots of heavy grain: 4.5/5. While the screws did line up, some pieces attached more precisely than others: 4/5. The instructions to assemble very precise, however, the low quality of the pictures included made for a slight amount of confusion at points. Some clarification would have helped -- things like explaining that the back does not actual lean back like it appears to in the photos: 4/5.

In the photo the back looks to have a nice amount of leanback to it, but in reality it is closer to vertical. This means rectangular style cases don't fit as well as cases shaped like guitars. In my experience, these cases don't sit well in the stand and wobble around and do not sit securely, but it's resolved if you fill it up full with cases, especially one or two that are guitar shaped (notice how they have them between the guitar shaped cases in the photo... it's probably to hide this.): 3/5.

Of my cases, a 2015 Gibson rectangular case will simply not sit in the rack, and my Fender rectangular TSA Strat/Tele case doesn't sit confidently unless the rack is filled. Any Gibson Les Paul Style cases or acoustic cases and gig bags will do quite well otherwise.

It holds up to 6 cases and and as long as you have baseboards a half-inch thick or more your guitar cases should hit the wall.

Overall a solid B- offering from String Swing, but the caveats and details of this product should be laid out more transparently. I was surprised more reviewers haven't experienced similar issues.

Comments about String Swing Guitar Case Rack:

I was using a stage stand and the cases were leaning against the neck support posts. Not the greatest set up. I like keeping my guitars in their cases. I was considering making my own stand like this when I ran across this in the accessories section. I don't really have any complaints about it but it could be a little bigger, (you can only get four, maybe five cases in it), and it could have some end pieces that keep the case from falling sideways, (if you have a rambunctious pet or kids that might bump into them). Overall as good as I expected and I will probably buy another or two.

      • Good, nothing fancy, guitar storage.

Comments about String Swing Guitar Case Rack:

The first two worked so well I bought two more. These hold five full size acoustic guitar cases with no problem. Each rack took no more than 15 minutes to assemble. These aren't fancy, and probably wouldn't be the choice of someone who wanted to display their guitars. But for pretty practical, functional guitar storage, these work very well.

This is a very nice rack, it holds my 4 guitars in their cases nicely with room for another. Frees up space while looking great. My wife is very happy.

I bought one. The finish was nice and it took five minutes to assemble. I bought eight more and everyone was just as well manufactured as the first. If you want to securely store your guitars in their case, this is the way to go.

After long consideration I decided to try this case holder. It arrived quickly and packaged well. It took me all of twenty minutes to assemble and works perfectly. You are actually able to store your guitar cases with the guitars in them (BONUS) this product for the price cant be beat and will be purchasing another one in the near future.

Some reviews said theirs were missing screws or holes did not line up. Mine had all the parts needed and all holes lined up perfectly. It was very easy to assemble and fits my needs perfectly. I can even fit my mandolin case on it no problem. I'm very happy with this purchase.
