I've always wanted to hang my guitars. I hung 5 expensive guitars very timidly at first due to how HEAVY my guitars are and small headstocks. This is an extremely sturdy product when put into studs - I can't comment on drywall installation. Nothing moves when the guitars are hung, and I give them a little tug now and then to make sure nothing is moving or pulling. Rock solid product, and guitars on the wall instantly makes the room incredible. You will love the look and find you want to play guitar even more.

The mounting bracket and hanger arm work great. The problem with these is if you have to use the included drywall mounting screws. These screws are worthless. I purchased two of these units and out of the 4 included drywall screws, only 1 worked properly; the others merely broke in half when I tried to screw them in. If you know exactly where your studs are and can be certain you can put the screws into the stud, then this product will likely work well for you. If you plan on using the drywall mounting screws, forget it. Buy another product or go to your local hardware for drywall mounts that actually work.

Bottom line: price is RIGHT. As long as you don't blow it by screwing this into cheese or sand, and instead attach it securely into a wall as directly, it will hold your axes safely. Though if you have a wide neck (like a 6 string bass) be sure to check the width first. You can nicely adorn your wall with axes, but even better, you're more likely to play them!!
