This was one of the easiest pieces of "unassembled" furniture I have ever bought! I had it put together in less than 90 minutes, rack equipment in, computer wired and installed! I would reccomend this in a heartbeat! The only thing I would suggest would be the availability of a separate slide out keyboard tray by the manufacturer! Cheers!

Try and find a better desk. Using the rack for my BBE, monitors on the top rack with my Dell all-in-one, and my M-Audio keyboard on the main desk. Great space saver and workspace. Would buy again without hesitation.

For the home studio enthusiast on a budget this is good value for money and the lower ledge space is adequate for a desktop PC (I have two) and storing other small items. The monitor ledge is also situated at a nice height and has enough room for a 21-inch monitor plus two G-2 Rockit Monitors
Went together pretty easily, with no missing parts. Additional screws and washers provided for the rack mount brackets. Took approx. 1 hour to assemble. This is good value for money and the quality of the drilled holes was good in terms of alignment. I have no complaints and the cherry finish goes nicely in my room. The only downside comment is that it would have been nice to have had a smaller rack space mounting as well as the larger one. I have an Edirol SD-80 that is rack mount but for the smaller rack space. The cable tray at the back could be a little wider and deeper. However, these are minor points and overall I find this a nice workstation to use.
Quality was good with no assembly problems and/or missing parts. The holes aligned properly and the wheels went on without problems.

This unit has tied the elements of my home studio together perfectly. As I type, the top shelf is holding my 27" monitor and a pair of 8" monitors laid sideways, which places the woofers and tweeters precisely at ear level. The large desk surface is just the right height for my computer keyboard. The bottom shelf supports my computer, and has room to spare for storing microphones, headphones, cables etc. The rack bays and cable tray are the other elements that make this studio desk function so well, placing a combined total of 8 bays (4 each side) right at my fingertips. Ergonomically speaking this design is well thought out and executed.

I read an earlier review or two which cast doubt on the casters. The casters that came with mine appear to be quite heavy duty, and I would be very surprised indeed if one of them were to fail. Maybe the issue has been addressed by the manufacturer.

No other studio desk in this price range offers so much. In my case it is a complete solution - I don't have to buy monitor stands or another furniture item for my rackmount equipment. As my studio area is small, this means a lot to me, and is reflected in my rating. I'd give it an extra star if I could for being so much better than the competitiion.

To put things in perspective, the quality is fantastic for the price in that the unit meets or exceeds all my expectations. The unit is solid, goes together easily, looks good, and functions just as it should.
After shopping around a bit both locally and on line, I found nothing else at this price point that delivers as much value.

Overall, this is a great way to start out if you have never had one if these tables. Affordable and practical and the ease of assembly was an added bonus also.
I liked the fact that it came equipped with the screws to anchor your effects processors. That was a nice bonus to know you have them there when needed.
I think that the MDF construction is a little sub par. I had to redrill holes to mount a keyboard shelf and the finish chipped off if the original holes. It is not visible but I thought that the lamenated surface would have been a little better.
For the new studio musician who is looking for an affordable way to be able to just sit down and create, it is very practical.

I personally think this is an amazing studio desk for any home studios, whether you're recording, mixing, mastering, composing, anything!
When I first began putting this desk together, I was amazed with how big it is! It's got many Pros to it: The rackmounting space, the wide upper-shelf that can hold a decently sized computer screen and two big reference monitors. The lower desk is very wide, a lot of good real estate when it comes to a studio. As an electronic artist, having my MIDI controllers out in front of me, accessible at all times is a major plus! My little addition to the desk was that I added a small sliding keyboard tray on the bottom from Ikea for my Apple Wireless Keyboard and Trackpad, so that I would save the space on the desk itself. Even on theb bottom of the desk, the elevated lower part is a nice little foot rest for when you're spending hours on a session! And I can't forget the casters on the bottom, they help out no doubt with moving the desk to get behind it and patch cables!
For the price, the materials used on this desk are definitely nice quality! The wood (though it's probably fake) is really nice, and the metal parts are of a nice sturdy build. Don't have to worry about mounting a lot of things on the rack, these'll hold 'em all up!

Overall, pretty sturdy desk. I wouldn't stand on it though. This Creation Station desk is the medium size between the (small) Mix Station and (large) Producer Station. Bottom Shelf big enough to store 3 to 4 guitars in cases.
The Cherry version did not come with Vertical Panels and Bottom Shelf in Pewter(Dark Gray) due to being discontinued by the manufacture. So I got the Top Shelf and Main Worksurface replaced in Maple.
Dual 4 space rack and comes with rack screws. Four casters to move around, two locking. Main Worksurface at computer keyboard height. No need to add computer keyboard shelf under Main Worksurface.
Top Shelf rated at 35lb max. load.
Main Worksurface rated at 50lb max. load
Bottom Shelf rated at 50lb max. load.
