Very realistic feeling damper pedal. Great sustain pedal!
Switchable for open or closed, light, cheap - love it - great bang for the buck.
I actually own the older version of this pedal, which doesn't include the polarity switch, but even then, it's lasted me a long time with no problems at all! It's great looking too; much better than those little square black footswitches.
This is an excellent footpedal, perfectly suited to use as a damper. It has performed outstandingly for the past 2 years that I have owned and used it. It has rubber feet to keep it from sliding, and looks quite professional. At one point I had to replace the cable, but since then it has worked very well. If you want to extend your pedal cable's life, change out the straight 1/4" connector it has with a right-angle connector. This will keep problems at bay, especially when you play at live events and have a lot of moving around on stage.
I bought this pedal about 4 years ago and owned it for about a year. It worked perfectly and the polarity switch made it easy to switch between various keyboards and always have a pedal that works. Then after about a year it just stopped working. I bought another one and the same thing happened, after about a year it just died. My third one lasted me about 1 and a half years so I guess it had a nice long life. I'm getting the M-audio one this time, as it also has a polarity switch.
Like a reviewer just prior, mine broke after a year. I tired to fix it but ended up breaking it. A guy in my band had to fix our bands two pedals every year or so. It's kind of a joke. I'm going to try the m-audio. I hope it works better than this.
great for the musician on a budget or just to have an extra laying around as backup.
