The Studiologic VP26-U Universal Volume Control Pedal is the first of a new generation of keyboard volume pedals. IThe volume pedal uses a special, custom-made potentiometer to control instrument volumes for at least five different brands of keyboards. The Studiologic VP-26U pedal can truly be defined as a "universal" volume controller.
Together with its special potentiometer, the Studiologic keyboard volume pedal has a small polarity switch located immediately below the pedalboard and assembled directly onto the pedal shell.

Bought this volume pedal and Yamaha FC7 volume pedal to compare for a gig with Korg SV1 keyboard. I have been waiting months for Korg to re-stock the XVP10 volume pedal but the gig was getting too close to wait any longer. Both work fine in Korg SV1 but this pedal has less than 50% of the volume range of the FC7. The FC7 also has a heavier, more rugged build for stompers.
