Comments about Suzuki EX-100 GM Sound Expander Module:

This little GM module is a "sleeper" I found by accident. I incorporated it in a visual Sound Art piece I created. It was perfect for that. I have a 4x4 grid 8' x 6' and it plays a piano note depending on where people stand. It's very cool. I trigger it with an Arduino via MIDI.

Some of the sounds, like piano, are kind of thin. I would not play a solo piano gig with it. Some of the patches are pretty good. No one else seems to make an inexpensive MIDI module and this is ok for what it is. - joel in Dallas
