Offers an unprecedented 4 separate voltage options with 1500mA of power to handle a large number of diverse pedals.

Need to power multiple pedals? Enter the new Fuel Tank Chameleon, the most versatile power supply T-Rex has ever produced. Built for players with a large number of diverse pedals, Fuel Tank Chameleon offers an unprecedented 4 separate voltage options.

The Fuel Tank Chameleon has 6 isolated outputs supplying 1500mA of power in total. Each of the first 3 outputs can be set to either 9V DC or 12V DC. Output 4 can be set to either 9V DC or 18V DC. Outputs 5 and 6 offer 9V DC/12V DC and 12V AC respectively, but only one of these two outputs can be used at a time. In all that's 5 simultaneous outputs, each supporting one or more pedals.

All 9V and 12V outlets deliver 300mA each. When outlet 4 is switched to 18V DC it delivers 150mA. All outlets are center negative and will power all T-Rex pedals as well as numerous other brands, including Boss and Line6.

Comments about T-Rex Engineering Fuel Tank Chameleon Power Supply:

Cool little unit. Lots of voltage options, which is why I went for this one. I have 9, 12, and 18 volt pedals. Seemed sturdy and mostly functional but it buzzed like an old TV with a short... Not a problem for my onespot, and I tested my whole chain to find the problem. Sadly, I'm taking this back tomorrow. I was really pumped about it so this is a shame.

Don't overlook this flexible little tank

Comments about T-Rex Engineering Fuel Tank Chameleon Power Supply:

The Voodoo Labs Pedal Power series get all the attention, but I chose the Chameleon for a reason: it's more flexible and more powerful — and for a power supply, that's what I'm looking for. The Pedal Power 2+ may have 8 outputs, but all but 2 of them are limited to 100mA max output. That's not enough for some higher-end or other power-hungry pedals, and doesn't allow for a lot of daisy-chaining off of one output. The Chameleon, though, outputs 300mA from each outlet. So even though it has less outputs, it can power more pedals than the PP2+ and also supports pedals with higher power requirements.

Also, its smaller size makes for easier placement on or under your board. This plus the power capacity of this little guy makes it a win-win for me. Oh, one final thing — the Chameleon gives you 18v from 1 port and includes the cable, unlike the PP2+ which uses 2 ports and requires you to buy an optional adapter. All this for less money. Win-win-win! As you can tell, I'm quite happy I found this.

Comments about T-Rex Engineering Fuel Tank Chameleon Power Supply:

Easy to use (watch the youtube video to make sure you don't overload the unit). Excellent variety in the supplied cables. Very Quiet. A piece of cake to route and mount on a home made pedal board.
