Comments about Taiyo Yuden CD-R 52X Compatible 100-Disc Spindle:

Having a plastic cover and central spindle would have been nice instead of the sticky plastic wrap around the outside. But the product accepted print well and sounded good.

Comments about Taiyo Yuden CD-R 52X Compatible 100-Disc Spindle:

Roland recommended I use Japanese-made CD's to back-up my songs on my VS-2480 because I was having issues with the discs I bought at Staples.
I ordered a recommended brand (I don't recall which one now) and I received a different brand, JVC, without any eplanation. They came in a plain brown box with a wad of packing paper stuffed in the corner. It's described as a "spindle" pack, but there was no spindle. The 100 discs were shrink wrapped and there was no plastic case as pictured.
Fortunately, they were not damaged and work fine. I was going to return them, but I called Roland again and asked it they were OK. They said they should be if they were made in Japan, which they were.
