I have used mine for 2 days and it's great. I am a hard hitter and my other stands vibrated and slowly moved backwards, away from me. This boom stand couldn't hold a 21" Medium Ride, but worked wonders for a 18" Medium Crash. And it doesn't move at all. Great if you can't afford the ones with counterweights.

I have owned this stand for a few weeks, and I feel that for the money it is a good value. However, It's not one of the best stands I have ever used. The stand is light weight and tends to bend and wobble as you ride or crash cymbals. boom arms feel flimsy, especially when they are fully extended. I like my cymbals to move when I play them not the stands. I have used stands from Yamaha, Pearl, and DW which were far better. Tama might be the strongest name in drums, but, not so strong in stands.

Awesome

This is a great boom stand. When I bought this I took it home and I got it set up in less than a minute! That's how easy it is to set up. And I can break it down in like a second. I can why they call it a Roadpro. It's never tipped over, even when I bumped in to it hard it wobbled. Great cymbal boom stand.

Best piece of hardware I own

The best feature this stand what replaced they old Tama wing nut. This new system not only allows quicker/easier set up, but doesn't loosen up as much during play.

TAMA RULES!!!!

By Aaron-ScD1H

This is an excellent stand to buy. it is heavy duty and will not move. It also has an good idea with having two screws at the top, you can adjust the angle of the boom are while the other screw holds it from twisting or sliding out. Yet another excellent innovation from Tama.
