this pedal is good if you're a beginner who's not gonna be playing this really hard. i got one with my original tama swingstar kit and played it for almost a year with only a few problems. the beater started to come loose after a few months, but by tightening it extremely hard, it should be fine. after i did that, it hasn't come loose once. other than that, it has worked fine for me.

I bought this pedal recently and the shaft keeps completely falling out. Somehow the metal on the bolt that holds the shaft in place got stripped and when I stomp down really hard, it just comes flying out. I've tightened the bolt, taken it out and put it back in, changed the height of the beater, but the same problem keeps happening. It's also difficult to adjust the tension. All in all, a poorly made product, certainly suitable for a light hitter in a practice/beginning setting, but not reliable enough to make it worth the risk at concerts!

This pedal works great for acoustic drums, however due to the round beater, it does not work well with electric kits. If you replaced the beater, this would make a great pedal for both acoustic and electric kits alike! Also has great value!

Good pedal that adjusts to the kick and standards of you. Shorten the kick for faster playing or make it longer for when you have time to hit it.

I have had this pedal for over a year and have dished out the mother of all beatings. However it has held strong and is still in mint condition! It is a good single pedal for both begginers and experts. I recommend it, you wont regret it.

This pedal is great, it came with my set, i have had zero problems with it being too loose or anything like that. In my opinion one of the best pedals for the money. Buy this pedal.

Good cheap pedal for beginners. Experts will want an "Iron Cobra".

After I made a few adjustments to best fit the way I use my foot, this pedal has great responce and it never comes lose or squeks. I have a style of playing on on my toes and I'm able to play real fast, I've been told by older bands that the've never seen anyone move their one foot that fast, nicked named the jack rabbit, all in all I love this pedal.

I got two of these with a tama 7 piece double bass kit. I was considering buying two pearl p-2000b belt-driven powershifter eliminator's because i looked up the pedals that came with the kit and saw how cheap they were, but after i got the kit, changed the beaters, and adjusted them they were perfect. they dont sqweak at all. they are the perfect pedals for any level of experience.
