This is the pick for true tone connoisseurs. Heavier and denser than steel or brass picks for a far richer sound, yet still with all the brightness you would expect for a metallic pick. Nothing quite like it. Very stylish as well, definitely adds an element of stage presence. Pricey, but then again why compromise your tone and in this economy, investing in gold is a good idea. Highly recommend coupling your usuage of this pick or any metal pick with a graphite saddle bridge to minimize string breakage. So far I haven't killed a string with such a bridge despite the fact I go hard with my midas touch.

1. Too expensive....2. Not the best guitar pick ever...3. When I used it, I got the 'I want to use it but don't want to break it because it seems expensive'Overall, it's not worth the price. My friend has one of these, I used it once. Big mistake. I scratched my guitar and the sound was H*O*R*R*I*B*L*E. Unless you have enough money to waste, don't buy this pick. If you want to buy this just to wear it as a necklace, it's too expensive and it doesn't look that good. Thumbs down...

Disgusting

Ok first of all this thing is WAY too steep for what it is. The only thing it is useful for is maybe a backup on money if you blow it all on lottery tickets. But this thing (no lie) when i used it Broke a string man. but if you are a fancey penny sniffer then ya buy this but if not, go buy a guitar.

This pick is gnarly! It makes a perfect sound! I have waited forever for this sound. Other than that it is a little pricey-but definitely worth it!

It sucks!

This pick is too much for the way it works, it'll last you maybe 1 day if you're lucky - it's also sharp, and will cut your strings.

WHAT?

Who buys this? I could see a rich teenage girl who is starting to learn to play guitar and is way too boastful about it buying this. Probably not an average guitarist. It looks a lot less "I just want to fit in" if you take a real guitar pick, put a hole in it, and put some string through it. Especially if its got an eagle or something on it. You could buy an OK guitar for the price of this. I do kinda like the "Golden Touch" thing though.

What the... ??!!

By Technomancer

from why would i tell you

This is jacked up...not in a good way. It'll tear up your strings. And your hands 'cause it is sharp. It looks sorta bling...but that is it. DO NOT BUY IT. IT IS ####. IT IS OVERPRICED.

Great for dress, not for play

This pick is a great piece of attire, but not something to actually use with your guitar(s). It is to show your love for guitars, not to butcher up the strings. It is beautiful and would go well with any guitar lover as far as wearing it goes. Just keep in mind that it is for off stage not on stage and you?ll be ok.

Or is it the most overpriced piece of jewlery available? You can decide for yourself; however, this pick shoudln't be used to play guitar with because it's such a waste of money. Buy regular picks for playing.

Why would you want to play with a solid gold pick? This thing completely rips up you and your instrument... and not in a good way.
