Comments about The Gripp Hand Trainer for Guitarists:

When a pinched nerve in my neck caused my left hand to lose strength, and before I was prescribed physical therapy, I bought the Gripp. Combined with the therapy to straighten my cervical vertebra, etc., the Gripp was a great contributor to regaining the strength in my left hand. I wore out my first Gripp, as I keep it by my easy chair so it is convenient to use. I worked the entire hand AND the individual fingers. (Before coming into this rehearsal room, I worked the new Gripp while watching the news.) Other than the fact that it will wear out, I couldn't endorse this enough. Receiving the shock of not possibly being able to play guitar tends to make an individual get religion on addressing the causes for the loss of that musical skill. Although I rate my recovery at about 97%, (still have a bit of a problem with bar chords sometimes.....but light years from where I was a year ago,) that Gripp is going to be a resident of my coffee table for a long time. (And probably a number of replacements!)

Comments about The Gripp Hand Trainer for Guitarists:

            Results are fine.
            Just squeeze.
Has some holes on the frist layer of skin.
            Squeeze works well.

Pleased but not what I expected

Comments about The Gripp Hand Trainer for Guitarists:

Okay, first of all I love this little thing. So far it's working and if you use it consistently I expect good results. If it doesn't for me I will write another review later. :)I had a few expectations of it that were not met, but it turned out okay in the end. ~Mine is green, not yellow and on the back of the package there is a picture of a red one. So they come in different colors, I presume. Glad I didn't get red cuz I hate red. :)~And I expected it to be very small. Like 1 to 1.5 inches tall. It's not. It is 2.5 inches. Which is fine but I thought it was tiny. I had one problem with it but I fixed it. lol It was taking in air or something so it was getting bigger and when I squeezed it it would make a bubble. lol So I stabbed it with my sister's sewing needle. lol Problem solved!!

            A few details..

Comments about The Gripp Hand Trainer for Guitarists:

On my last review I stated that it was not a beanbag. That is false. I misworded it. It is a beanbag, but a very densely packed beanbag. It also stops hurting after a day or 2, so if you expect to feel the pain forever, you'd be wrong. That said, I still love this product.

            My new little buddy

            By

            from Georgia

Comments about The Gripp Hand Trainer for Guitarists:

Before I ordered this product I had a few misconceptions about it. #1 The ball is made of some sort of latex/rubber material. Not a beanbag. #2 This is quite hard to squeeze and has much resistance but you can squeeze as hard as you like. With only a few hours of having this my arpeggios and fingering exercising skills have drastically improved. It's teeny tiny so you can take it anywhere.Although it's rubbing against my skin and making it a bit uncomfortable. It appears to be quite durable, just don't puncture it.
