Comments about Thomastik GB112 Medium Light George Benson Custom Flatwound Guitar Strings:

Pricey but I love these strings enough that I've decided to use them exclusively on my go-to-performance guitar (gibson ES 345) and use less expensive but quality strings of the same gauge on a second guitar for rehearsing and practicing.

    The Best!

Comments about Thomastik GB112 Medium Light George Benson Custom Flatwound Guitar Strings:

George Benson's playing and success speaks for itself. The strings with his name are just right for my needs. I have had mine on a jazz box that I use in the salty Florida air for over 6 months. That's 96 gigs. I am now replacing them with a fresh set. I could keep on using the same ones but I like to keep strings from getting too old to prevent damage to frets.
    No frills high quality.
Never break these unless using brute force. These are not for brutes.
Somewhat expensive, but you get what you pay for. Really good quality.

    Great Strings

Comments about Thomastik GB112 Medium Light George Benson Custom Flatwound Guitar Strings:

George Benson knows what he's talking about. He's well to do and a great artist. I trusted his judgement and won big time.
These Thomastic Infeld George Benson Strings are great! They last much longer than typical brands and sound great. I play music professionally in Florida in the salt air near the Gulf of Mexico. This wheather, although fabtasic for one's health, takes its toll on guitar stings and hey can rust pretty fast.

These GB strings have a great tone and outlast every other brand short of coated strings.

Can I say more? Get then and enjoy!
I have had some strings unravel on me. Not these. They last and don't fall apart.
You get what you pay for don't you?

    That's the case here.

If you want to be cheap, you can get other brands.

These work great despite the cost.

    GB112

    By Andrew Curry

Comments about Thomastik GB112 Medium Light George Benson Custom Flatwound Guitar Strings:

Nice soft feel to these strings, and they sound good for a long time. I have them on my 1957 Gibson ES5 Switchmaster.
    Features? Round-wound nickel E, A, D, G, steel B and E strings. The G, at .020, is one of the lightest wound G strings available, and I like that. Gauges are .053, .038, .030, .020, .016, .012.
I knew Thomastik Infeld from playing bass - love the long-lasting bass flatwound and have 5 Fender basses strung with them. These guitar strings also last longer than other brands.
You pay more but you get more.

Comments about Thomastik GB112 Medium Light George Benson Custom Flatwound Guitar Strings:

I was fighting with some medium jazz strings on my Hagstrom. Went to this medium light set. Great tone and the fight is over. This set has flat wound G, D, and E strings so I get very little string noise, just a nice mellow tone. Because they are medium light they do not tend to bend unless you are wanting to play a bend, so ntonation is good. I will get a few more sets.

Comments about Thomastik GB112 Medium Light George Benson Custom Flatwound Guitar Strings:

If you are guitar player that loves the true sound of strings that give you what you want when and how you want it, these are the only strings to buy. They cost more and they last better than any string out there.I have played for over 40 years. I love them.I buy them from MF but have found blow out sales for a lot less. If you have never tried them, treat yourself. They feel like butter.I have 11's on my Les Paul, 12's on my go to work Jazz box and 13's on my L5 Copy. These strings are perfect.
