I bought this last week for a replacement case for a Gibson J-185ec. The guitar does not fit snugly into the case. There is not much padding and the handle is was attached crooked to the case. I should have sent it back. I will be shopping for a quality case.

Own one that's almost 10 years, the only damage mother nature and I had done to this case was accidentally soaked it's bottom in water for a few days, which cause the outside cover to be detached from the wood, all i had to do was glue it back though. The lock was rusting(of course), yet works very well and is still easy to unhook, not in the sense of loosened though, i could still feel the tightness and momentum(pull one and you'll understand what im saying).The interior is a plus too, really like the fur-like texture even though it doesnt necessary provides more protection.Overall a very nice, trustworthy case; lasts ten years and definitely more and completes its duty as always.

Received this case and for the money it's the worst value on the market. Poor quality hardwareand smelled terrible.
