It took me a couple of settings to get used to these sticks. They are slightly longer and feel lighter than the typical sticks I used. But once I got used to them I fell in love! The "knob" at the end make them very easy to hang on to when playing and when spinning or twirling them. The only gripe I have is that they don't seem to be holding up as well as some of the other sticks I've used, but I haven't quite broken one yet.

I've been using Trueline for over ten years and I love the stick. But my problem with them currently is that they've changed the type of wood they use to something weaker. The old 2B Wood sticks I purchased five years ago took forever to break. Now I go through three pairs of sticks during an hour set because this new wood just doesn't hold up. My playing style hasn't changed either (typical hard hitting rock drummer). Their sizes are also odd. I bought a couple pair of 5B Wood sticks and later bought some 2B Wood sticks. I compared the two pairs of sticks and saw that they were identical in length and width. The only thing that was different was the label on the side (2B and 5B). The 2B stick was much larger than the 5B stick in prior comparisons. I wrote to Trueline to see what was going on and I never received a response. And on top of all this, they've just increased their 2B stick price. How does the quality of the stick go down, but the price goes up? Hmmm? Anyway. Truelines sticks are still great, especially if you're not a hard hitter, but I have to give them six stars these days due to quality and customer service. Five years ago I would have given them ten stars and wrote a much more positive review for them. C'mon Trueline! Step it up again. I have faith that you can produce the quality stick you once produced in the past again.

Why Stop Selling A Great Product ?

By Nathan L.

Great Stick!

By Chezrock

from San Diego

I've been using these sticks for over a decade, and have been the best I've ever used. They are absolutely the best feeling, highest quality, and most durable stick I've run across. I know the power grip is weird for some drummers, but I find that it provides good balance, and control. I would recommend giving 'em a run for a few hours (not just a few minutes) before making up your mind whether they're right fo you.

You won't be able to go back.....

By Double C

Man, these sticks are the best. No matter how much I practice I've always had the problem of my hands sliding too far back on the sticks. Not with these sticks - I love them!!!

Trueline sticks - everyone should play them!

By Gigdrummer

from Louisville, KY

Trueline sticks are the best sticks I have ever used, and I've been playing for 25 years. I wish these sticks were around 25 years ago. The unique shape fits perfectly in your hands and they are hard as hell! Try a pair, I promise you will love them!

Good but...

By Spiritdrummer

from Baker City, OR

Okay first let me say that I absolutely love these sticks. Once you get used to them you will never use other sticks again. But the thing lately is that they have been breaking quiet easily. Of course I play hard, but I never had this problem before. Perhaps I got a bad batch, anyway, I would recommend these to any drummer of any style.
