OVERVIEW

The smart and convenient way to power your effects pedals!

If you want a grab and go power solution for your pedalboard, or a compact, reliable backup for your tour rig, the 1 SPOT Combo Pack is for you.

With the 8-plug cable included in this Combo Pack, you can power up to 8 pedals, and by linking additional Multi-Plug cables, you can power a virtually unlimited number of pedals!

The 1 SPOT Combo Pack consists of a 1 SPOT 9V DC power supply, Multi-Plug 8 Cable, (2) Battery Clip Converters, (2) 3.5mm (1/8”) Converters and an L6 Converter for Line 6 modeling pedals.

The 1 SPOT is the original 9V DC adapter that only takes up one spot on your power strip. With the ability to handle up to 1700mA, the 1 SPOT can power your entire pedalboard.

You can even use the 1 SPOT anywhere in the world without a voltage converter because it automatically converts voltage worldwide. No need to worry about AC hum interfering with your sound either... the 1 SPOT is one of the quietest power sources you can buy.

You know how annoying it is to have your 9 volt die and your effect no longer be effective. I had a power box before this and didn't know if a daisy chain would really work. Since I was buying some Visual Sound pedals I thought I would give this a try. LOVE IT! It super simple but gives you the piece of mind of not worrying about buying and running out of batteries. I had an A/B box that was always dying and only ran on 9 volt. I drilled a hole in the side and used the 9 volt adapter that came with this daily chain - BAM! No more A/B box battery suckage. This also worked on my volume pedal and all my other pedals. I love it!

I bought this exact Visual Sound One-Spot power supply from Guitar Center.....

When it was new out of the box it worked fine but it didn't last...I have had it for about a year then it began to cut out for no reason....It was cutting out where the daisy chain 8 connectors plug into the single female cable going to the AC power wall outlet.....No reason, just cutting out and making my amp hum when it did this.

I'd like to note since this began it also makes all of my pedals hum a little as time wore on when the connection is secure...the AC current isn't stable and it really hurts the overall tone....I changed cables to Mogami GOLD, I changed guitars but it's the One-spot that was the culprit and it's no longer worth wiggling the wires to get it to work it's affecting the tone when it is working....I am getting a lot or unwanted hum noise because of a poor unstable AC current connection going from the wall to the pedals.

When I remove it completely my amp is normal....

I have another cheaper priced multi power supply to compare it to which is actually older than the One-spot and it has no humming noise maybe because it's a fixed wire going from AC wall block directly out to 5 pedal outputs....I use it on another amp set up and used the One-Spot on the same amp an it hummed on that one to.

The CONs I see after owning the One-Spot are there is a lot of cord on this power supply between the AC power supply then attached to another longer cord with 7 outputs....This unit is a two piece cable set up which is where the power supply is cutting in and out....It's humming through my amp NOW and I lose sound and see all my pedals off and hear my amp HUMMING from this unit going off on it's own and effecting the single to my rig...

No thanks Visual Sound, I will never buy another one like this again....mine didn't last and the design is horrible when it's not a fixed cable going from the AC transformer to the pedal power pins.

Comments about Truetone 1 SPOT Combo Pack:

This is the second one I've onwed (and still use the first one I bought YEARS ago). Lots of way to connect things together. I do not use a ton of pedals but this does power what I use nicely. I use this with two PedalTrain minis and it does a great job.

One Spot Combo Pack

By Darren Ryan

from Lewisville, TX, USA

Comments about Truetone 1 SPOT Combo Pack:

I am using this product with a pedalboard that includes my older, vintage pedals and some newer effects pedals. I have used it on stage five times so far, but it works like a charm. There is no added noise.
I am very happy with the One Spot so far. Only possible issue so far--the plug that goes into the wall socket does not hold tightly. It seems loose.
Best feature. . .

    great product!
i am currently only using this product with three pedals so i cant say if it can realy power eight pedals but i can tell you that so far it sworking great and is making it very easy for me to power my pedals with out hasseling with a bunch of seperate (and expensive) power supplys. i saw what others wrote about it creating noise but, honestly, i dont hear anything that bothers me, so i definitely rocomend this and confirm that its a great product!
    great value!

Comments about Truetone 1 SPOT Combo Pack:

Overall the best "daisy-chained" power supply out there for floor pedals.
Excellent power supply. I run a Boss Noise Suppressor, Crybaby, Korg Floor Tuner and even run it to my Boss Multi-Effects pedal. NO NOISE or HUM whatsoever. The item was shipped very quickly and I am very pleased with it. I've been shopping with MF for over 20 years and never had an issue.
Nice heavy duty wiring that is very well insulated.
Definitely worth every penny hands down.

    No Noise!!!!!!

Comments about Truetone 1 SPOT Combo Pack:

I had a lot of hum from my pedals and pedalboard. I bought the 1 Spot Combo Pack and ALL my hum was COMPLETELY GONE!!!!! If you have a lot of pedals and tired of using a lot batteries, this is for you. The best thing is that I can hook all my pedals without skipping one just to hook it up. Some daisy chains just dont reach very well. This baby goes to front mount to side mount with extra room to spare.
    Awesome!!!
A heck of a lot cheaper than buying power box!!!!!! Plus it works just as good if not better.

Just getting into using pedals with my bass. More than i needed for my pedal board that can only fit 5 pedals max but takes care of business with one plug. No noise that i can hear.
