I am still baffled by the poor design of these hangers. I discovered the hard way that an instrument with an asymmetrical head stock (like a strat or tele) will slip right out of the hanger and fall shortly after placement in the hanger. The material that coats the hanger is rubberized, but does not provide sufficient grip. The super-wide nature of the fork prevents the so called "security strap" from holding a guitar in place. Quite simply these a waste of time an money. I returned mine for a refund and purchase a much cheaper and simpler hanger that has none of these problems.

Holds up my classical just fine. I was surprised, however that it doesn't hold the guitar a little closer to the wall.
