I bought this stand in March and I have to say that i couldn't be more happier with it. First of, the looks are phenomenal, on stage it looks really cool (i have the silver one). Setting it up right out of the box took me about 5 minutes, reading the little manual that comes with it, of course. Once i took it to my gigs it would take me less than 15 seconds to set it up. I love that it comes with 2 sets of tri-bars, so you can use to of your keyboards. And also there's longer arms and clamps should you decide to add more keyboards. Th only little glitch is the price, which may seem a bit, but once you own it, you will soon realize that it is worth every penny (as I did). 5 Stars allround (except for the price tag =])
This stand is by far the most convenient, sleek-lookin' stand out there! On it I use Korg X50(top) and Casio WK3200(bottom), soon-to-be-replaced by the Alesis 8HD (both similar sizes, I know the arms can handle it). VERY sturdy, breaks down to a single piece of metal that can me easily carried around. DEFINITELY RECOMMENDED, though any boards bigger than my Casio probably wouldn't fit well, may even move about. Stick to Pro-style (speakerless) keyboards, and look like a pro with this appropriately-named ULTIMATE stand!
This is the best keyboard stand I've ever seen. It takes up almost no space, is very sturdy, fully collapses when you need to take it somewhere, and looks great too. It's the only one I considered buying for my huge keyboard because of the weight rating. I saw the other ones and they were not nearly as steady. Overall, it's great.
Great stand. My old one was stolen at a gig (a ten year old anniversary version; the original silver stand) and this was the only stand I considered to replace it. My only beef is that my last stand had a case (this one did not)and after the first gig the bottom stabilizer broke off. Regardless of this I still think it is the best looking and best built stand in the business.
I own a Roland RD-500 and a Yamaha Motif8, both which are full sized 88 keys and all. This had to be the shakiest stand I have ever played on. Not to mention that the standard 13" bars it comes with almost lost my Motif in a live performance. And yes, I had the stabilizer down, and yes, I removed the plug on the bottom for heavier keyboards but it still was way too shaky for my comfort. That is all I could think about was dropping my board!
Great stand; compact, yet easy to set up and very sturdy. Love the silver.
This is a great strong, sturdy stand. If you have a Yamaha Motif, (or equivelent in size) keyboard, I PROMISE you the arms are not long enough to support the board.
