The clip on holder is very practical.  The standard music stand speaks for itself.

Great for the price

Features:

What can you say?  It's a lightweight, inexpensive yet very functional clipboard.

Quality:

It's about as good as one could expect for an inexpensive item.

Value:

I got one of these as a gift about a year ago and it does what it's supposed to do......hold a few sheets of paper in a position where I can see them easily.

My main use is holding set lists.  No more taping them on the floor in front of me or trying to tape them to a floor monitor where they may or may not create a rattling noise!

I recently got another 2 (one for a spare and one for one of my bandmates) and as long as they are available I will continue to purchase them as needed.

Overall:

This little accessory more than pays for itself in convenience.

Great for what it is!

The other reviews have described the limitations of this design. This is NOT a heavy duty music stand and must be evaluated for what it is designed to do. At this price point, it is a very handy low profile way to hold a few sheets of paper. I have babied my first unit and it's still in operation after a few years, but I have a spare on hand for when the inevitable happens.

I don't know of anything else on the market for this price and it works well for me. As a matter of fact, because of it's limitations, I don't bring pages of lyrics to gigs and I'm forced to learn the tune.

Very nice!

Features:

Not the biggest for real estate (sheet music) but adequate to hold almost anything I clip on. No big clunky music stands needed for me now! Very Handy!

Quality:

I know it has to be light-weight, but something a little more durable and rigid would be nice. The clip can be a little cumbersome to operate at times ... perhaps a little bigger push-tab.

Value:

The pricing is okay.

Overall:

Very handy and out of the way when need be.

Great for a gigging band

| Review By: Gregory Hancock | 5 months, 6 days ago

2 people out of 2 found this review helpful

Features:

Great size for song-sheets and cue-sheets.  The pic in the ad shows the unit on top of the mic stand but we let 'em hang from the bottom; consequently, we have no difficulty at all with the swivel mounting mechanism.

Quality:

The unit is made out of plastic and cardboard.  I don't expect much by way of durability or precision.  Given that, however, I do wish it could be marketed at a lower price.

Value:

This unit is a reasonable value only because it is so unique.  I've not found anything like it so I'm willing to pay the price - in fact, I'm getting ready to place my third order.  The original ones are still in use but the musicians keep asking for more so they can keep more pages at the 'ready.'

Overall:

In my opinion, a helpful asset.
