Comments about Vic Firth Christoph Schneider Signature Drumsticks:

Okay, let me just start by saying that I havent played these for an incredibly long time. Ive put them through an average practice. They havent cracked or split at the tip. I say this because normally in a brick of sticks ill get at least a few pairs that break immediately then a couple that last forever and never die.
The reasons I love this stick over the standard American Classic 2b is 1. Because of the taper size, its much shorter than most sticks so I can do rim shots without worrying about the stick splitting along the side. 2. the size of the tip, on the 2b the tip is a thin acorn like size, on the SCS its more thicker and slightly shorter, this has eliminated the problem of the tip breaking up and chipping away like so many tips have in the past for me
