These sticks have potential. They are quite light and easy to monuver than other sticks...but they have their downfall. They chip and break really easily! My greatest dislike of these sticks is that they have extremely too much vibration! One good hit throws your arm out! Be sure that you are an experienced drummer before attempting to try these sticks.

Best Marching Sticks On The Market!

By Anonymous

Comments about Vic Firth Corpsmaster Tom Aungst Snare Sticks:

As a snare drummer in marching band, these are the best sticks I've ever used! Trust me, I have used a lot of drumsticks. But, if you don't tape them, they will chip FAST! All in all, these sticks are the bomb!

These sticks are some that I have used in my entire life. They are light and have great duration. Also they let you move very freely. This is what I think.

Comments about Vic Firth Corpsmaster Tom Aungst Snare Sticks:

I just finished my marching season with the Cadets this summer, taking 1st at the DCI World Championships. Our percussion head, Tom Aungst, supplied us with his signature stick. I must say that these are the best snare sticks my godly hands have ever touched. I guess one must supply the best, for the best!By the way I rule.

      overall good stick.

Comments about Vic Firth Corpsmaster Tom Aungst Snare Sticks:

Heres the rundown on these sticks: With fast rebound and nice bead response this sticks apply to my style of play, with more emphasis on the back of the grip(derived from drumset)The unique bead gives a really nice snare sound, but can give a varied tone depending on each players playing angle.Hope this helps you make your decision.

These are good sticks, I enjoy playing with them and they feel great on snare. My only problem is they break very easily I used them for about 2 weeks straight and they broke. Even with tape on .

Comments about Vic Firth Corpsmaster Tom Aungst Snare Sticks:

If you're going to get a pair of stix from Vic Firth. These are the kind to get. The reverse tear drop head gives not only an amazing sound but also a very good rebound. A little heavier than Ralphies but also more articulate.

Comments about Vic Firth Corpsmaster Tom Aungst Snare Sticks:

These sticks are all around good, I personally think they're not good because these have a HUGE rebound, some people like that and some don't, I gave these sticks a good rating though because they are good sticks and a lot of people love them. (And I mean HUGE rebound)

They play just like Hardimons, except Aungst are a little lighter, and a fraction smaller in length, the width/grip is larger. Durability is the same

Comments about Vic Firth Corpsmaster Tom Aungst Snare Sticks:

I have been using these and I have also used these in the line that I teach for. I really like them and my kids do too, from beginner to adept drummers. I do, however, agree that they do need to be taped or else they tend to crack and chip. Overall a great stick that I recommend and still use!

Comments about Vic Firth Corpsmaster Tom Aungst Snare Sticks:

I got these for my line and everyone loves them. The only thing you may want to keep in mind is that is these sticks aren't taped they chip and crack easier. But over all, fantastic sticks for a great price.
