Visual Sound 1 SPOT - Space-Saving 9V DC Adapter  

I used the 1 Spot power supply this week during an Easter service. It performed flawlessly, powering three pedals - all of different brands. It is a space-saver, is reliable, capable, compatible with pedals made by a variety of manufacturers, and does with aplomb what the manufacturer claims it is supposed to do. The length of the cord on this adapter is very generous, eliminating the need (in my case) for an extension cord.

Cable could be constructed of a heavier grade material.

Eliminated an extension cord and multiple adapters.

Positive qualities: price, length of cord, compatibility with pedals from a variety of manufacturers, elimination of an extension cord. The ONLY suggestion I have would be for the manufacturer to use a little heavier guage material for the power cord. On the other hand, I don't mistreat my equipment nor do I place it in such a way as to have it under foot.

this ac to 9volt adapter was exactly what was needed. really does the job. i only have one pedal hooked into it, but it;s a whole lot simpler to use, than trying to keep up with batteries. batteries are pretty unreliable. really glad i purchased it.

I've gone through a couple of these. At the price, it seems like a     bargain, but after a few months it will crap out. The first one I bought     simply would not power my pedals after a while, and the second one I     got caused an annoying high pitched whining sound at random times after     being used for a few months. Very untrustworthy, especially if you are a     gigging musician. If you rely on this adapter, make sure you have some     9-volt batteries handy. I am now using batteries for my pedals until I     can save up for a higher end adapter. Don't buy this unless you only     play a couple times a week.
