This is pretty much a standard daisy chain-as good as anything out there. All the other daisy chains I've seen are pretty much identical in terms of features. It won't power effects that require an AC power supply (some Digitech pedals) or pedals that require a barrel connector that has a positive center (like some Line 6 pedals). You can solve the center positive problem by buying a center polarity converter that costs about 3 bucks. For the AC problem, you've got bigger issues. No matter what, you're better off understanding the power requirements of the pedals you buy and approaching your rig with a plan in mind.

I bought this to extend my One Spot due to my pedal addiction. Would I have purchased it if I did not have a pedal addiction? No. But I needed more power to feed my addiction. This enabled me to continue my addiction. Now I can power a pedal board the size of Tokyo on one One Spot. Thanks!

Have you ever had to find the bad battery or wall-wart amongst your pedals in the middle of a gig when your signal chain goes quiet? I have, and it's an awful feeling, letting the band down and holding up the show.
I don't use a lot of effects, but after years of running through 9V batteries in stomp-boxes, this is a godsend. And it's allowed me to keep all my effects pre-connected, and velcro'd to my board which saves a lot of time on set-up and break-down. I use three of the inputs, and keep the others tied down for when I need to expand my setup. Love this cable!

This is a product where you actually have to be smarter than the product to get good use out of it.
There are those who claim that the origin of manufacture or only having five plugs is a drawback - but everything is made overseas anymore and this company does offer an eight plug adapter.
I am a professional musician and use this on a three pedal pedal board. It was clipped to accumodate only the pedals I needed and still works great.
I also have it ties down with zip ties so it doesn't get plugged and unplugged all of the time - which in my opinion would shorten the lifespan of this product over time.
It's been around the world with no failures. Recommend it to everyone I see.

I have a One Spot power supply that I wanted to utilize to power all of the pedals on my board, so I ordered the Multi-Plug 5 Cable Adapter. I have used it almost daily for the last couple weeks since I purchased it and I have had no problems with it. I run a cry baby,a Fulltone OCD, Seymour Duncan Tweak Fuzz and a Korg non-pedal tuner and they all perform to the same quality as they did on batteries and individual power supplies.
Some reviews I have read mention hearing noise from their pedal board when using this product, but I have not experienced this at all. There is also plenty of length in the adapter to reach where you need it. This is a great, cost-effective way to power several pedals at once.

It broke after a year of light use. If the good people at Visual Sound hadn't outsourced this work to China and it hadn't stopped working on me abruptly, I'd rate it much more highly. Right now, it's literally garbage.
I'm taking my business elsewhere, forget Visual Sound and their inferior product. Do yourself a favor and look elsewhere.
Features are pretty much what you see -- it's an extension of the 1 SPOT power adapter. Took off two stars for there only being 5 extension plugs. It's not really enough for my needs, but it's still better than having a separate adapter for every pedal.
I bought this thing a year ago and it died last week. It has been sitting in my heavily air-conditioned house and is not even plugged into the wall when I'm not using it. Heck, I even had a towel over it when I wasn't using it. I'm fastidiously careful with my music gear; this is not a result of neglect.
The 1 SPOT adapter still works; this extension piece is what stopped working out of the blue.
I thought at the time that it was total bull to have to buy two separate pieces. I believe that it's just a ploy for them to be able to "maximize profit".

I have one of these on my pedalboard and I have no complaints. They don't give you a lot of extra-cable, which for me is a good thing, but be aware that all your pedals have to be prety much side by side for this to reach. The barrels will power any pedal that will run off a BOSS 9v adaptor - this is the most common type for stompboxes. Other terminals can be purchased for a few bucks for the rest - like my EH Big Muff, (why they still use the 1/8" micro-jack is a mystery... it can't affect the tone).

first let me tell you that this does its job, its a normal daisy chain for normal 2.1-2.5mm barrel connector but you all have to know that there are different connectors in different fx pedals if your pedals are normal 2.1-2.5mm barrel power connector you can connect all with this but you have to separate those with the +voltage in the outside and those with +voltage in the center, remember there are different fx with different connectors out there and this is for normal 2.1-2.5mm barrel connector. you can check the barrel size in your pedal by reading your pedal manual.

I power 5 different pedals with this cable and I think that I bought it like 4 or 5 years ago, I will probably have to replace it after all the abuse; the power adapter that comes with it works great too and it comes with enough cable to plug it far enough from the amp.
