Amazing Strings

Comments about Warwick Black Label Stainless Medium 6-String Bass Strings:

The Warwick Black Label Strings (WBLS) are amazing strings with great value. -The tone from these strings is great, the highs are accentuated and the lows are full and robust. Other strings I have used tend to be overly bright or lack good clarity. The WBLS have a great tonal balance.-The strings do not deaden as quickly as other strings that I have used (DR, Ernie Ball, etc.). The 'new string' sound persists after a multitude of shows and practices, while most other strings lose the 'new' sound within about two shows and/or practices.-The thicker B-string (.135) is nice, it reduces fret buzz and gives a clear tone when using the B-string. Most other basses have B-strings that are smaller (.125 to .130), which can be an issue especially if playing in a dropped tuning.I have tried a wide variety of other strings for my basses and I have come to the conclusion that the WBLS are the only ones that I will use on my basses (Warwick Corvette 6-string, ESP B-206, ESP C-305, Brice Z6 Fretless).
