The Weber Signature Series Alnico 8 15 Watt 8" Speaker is for all Champs with 8" speakers and to replace Oxford 8EV, Chicago P8R, and C8R speakers. They are warm, crunchy, compressed/fattened at high volume, and feature early breakup. Will fit in tweed and early BF Champs.

I purchased this to install in my 1966 Fender Vibro Champ, and couldn't be more satisfied.
What more could it need? - it is a well-made alnico speaker.
The construction of their speakers is solid and the sound is beyond the quality of the stock speaker it replaced.
Fair price. I could have easily spent more for a competitor's product, but do not see the reason why. This is a fair-priced, excellent choice for replacing a Champ speaker, or for use in any other low-wattage combo amp.

I put this in a fender champ 600 with new tubes and a few other mods and it's awesome. I smile everytime I use my little setup and I will deffanly buy another if I blow this one out.
Nice sound and good bass resonance for its size.
It's keeps up with my drummer in my blues rock band.

I bought this speaker for an old 50's Masco Map 105 and it sounds great! I would recommend this speaker to anyone looking for a speaker that will break up when the volume is cranked. If your looking for max headroom this may not be the speaker for you...

Weber alnico 8" speaker replaced my speaker in my Bugera V5. I swapped tubes and speaker and this was a major upgrade for the amp. That small amount of cash will be a purchase that i will never regret. My Bugera V5 has become my favorite amp to play now. I also own a Fender Supersonic 22, which sounds great but has to be very loud to get that good break-up which most tube owners want. Now i have that in a smaller amp, so it's not so loud for everyone else in the family. If you own a Bugera V5 and it just doesn't quite get you there, THIS MOD IS A MUST! Also considering speaker swap in my Supersonic 22 since I now know how great these Weber speakers sound. I am very pleased with this purchase and you will be too, I'm sure of it.
Perfect fit in my Bugera V5. Very nice lows for an eight inch speaker. Maintains the highs and mids while not sacrificing any of the lows.
I haven't had it long, but seems very durable. I'm sure Weber wouldn't still be around for as long as they have if they produced unreliable products.
The tone i get for the price is a much better investment than a set of boutique pick-ups that doesn't garantee satisfaction. This was a major change in tone and made my current pick-ups( fender 57-62's in an AM Standard Strat) sound fantastic!

Great replacement speaker for a Vintage Champ. 3D cleans at lower volume, nice compression at higher volume. This is "The" one if you play Strat's or Tele's. I might try an 8s as I play humbucker guitars.Overall value and no build time...
