I've tried dozens of pick styles over the years, and for some reason these do the best job of staying in my hand without rotating. I started using them with the "bump" down but this didn't seem to be an improvement over regular flat picks. Flipped the "bump" on top, and the change was huge. I don't know exactly why it works, but it does for me. Easy to palm and get right back in position just by feel, and the cost is reasonable - bought these as extras after trying them for awhile.

        I play 275 shows per year 6 & 12 string electric-acoustic guitars.
These picks get caught in the strings strumming up and down and fly out of
my hands- have never experienced anything like it- the only thing I can figure out is on the bottom of the pick, the risen lettering of "WEDGIE 1.0" keeps getting caught up on my strings ( elixer phos bronze on Takamine guitars) and makes the pick fly out of my hands every 60 seconds. I have a medium
strum pressure and have never had a problem with any pick I have ever used until this one- did not even order these- I wanted the Dunlop 1.0 and Mus Friend just sent these instead- figured I would give them a shot, but now you know what I think...

This is the pick I was looking for. The textered surface is what I need for rhythm playing. Other players in our band now "borrow" them.

5 years I was starting out I would drop picks and ordered a bunch of different types to see what suited my best. These were by far the best if you are looking for something to hold on a little better.

Comments about Wedgie Nylon XT Textured Picks:

The nylon picks are really good for aggressive strumming, and he gripping material that it has for your thumb and index finger makes it almost impossible to lose grip of. Another good feature is that it has a bent shape to it so that when you do start to strum, it reduces any accidental picking.

Comments about Wedgie Nylon XT Textured Picks:

I purchased 4 different types of grip picks before these and these are byfar the best. I purchased Dunlop, Everly Star, Dava, and also the non-textured wedgie, and these give the best hold without comparision. The only thing I wold point out is they tend to be a little more flimsy by thickness, so whatever thickness you normally prefer... I would go one up on.

Apart from not producing very much volume, except maybe for the thickest of these Wedgie Nylon picks, they have a great feel and grip. They almost never slip away.

Before i started using these picks i was dropping picks all the time and they were always spinning out of place. The textured grip on these picks solved everything! These picks are very durable too. I've used them on both guitar and bass and i always end up losing them before i break or wear them out.

                  The Best I've Ever Used

                  By DeathByOranges

                  from Poulsbo, WA

Comments about Wedgie Nylon XT Textured Picks:

I've tried a lot of picks, and I use lots of different kinds for different music. These picks however seem to be the all around best. I make my own songs and they all require some sort of unique way to play. Obviously some are faster, some are slower, loud or soft, clean or distorted. I basically cover every genre that uses guitars, drums, and a bass. Before it was hard to find picks that could be used for a slow song and then shredding. Many times they would fall out of place. Also I find it hard to switch from pinch harmonics to normal playing without letting the pick slip. I found these picks in a store one day and ever since they are my first and best choice for every song. I've given a bunch to all my friends and recommend them to all other musicians.

For years, I hated picks and wouldn't use them because I always dropped them. A few years ago, I started playing more seriously and needed a pick. I used Dunlop Ultex, but still dropped them some. Then I tried these Wedgies, and now I never use anything else. I like the 1 MM for acoustic strumming, thinner for electric or more difficult melody picking. Awesome! Try them.
