Comments about XL Specialty Percussion A-POD212 Rotationally Molded Protechtor Guitar Amp Case:
VERY useful item ! First of all, this is not a flight case...But what you get is superior protection far beyond a vinyl combo cover (and has high quality casters!). This is for personal gig moving (it's only 18 lbs), or for a small "roady" situation (someone that you trust with your gear), and will definately keep the combo "Ding" free! The top has a cut-out that allows the combo handle to be used....and when on stage , the amp sits a full 19" off the stage (with a slight angle tip to the combo, you can hear yourself and make changes much better). The following are the dimmensions (not even given on the XL spec. website!) :- Inside W. 27"- Inside D. 12.5"- Inside H. 15.5- Closed max H for overlap fit approx 25" (if your combo is higher than this, the case probably wouldn't overlap & close). If you have a smaller fragile tube combo, there is ample room for creative padding, and remember on stage you get a 19" lift. I hope this is helpful....it's a smart & very useful product...I wish I had these measurements before I took the risk (I have a LARGE combo)...but now, glad I did !!
