Articulating Back Support
The articulating back support (ABS) promotes spinal alignment and disperses the weight of the drum more evenly reducing player fatigue. The articulating design provides a customized fit so the player has complete control of the drum during complex body movement. The unique design allows free movement of the shoulder blades and scapula.
The black powder-coated magnesium shoulder and back bar supports are padded, which provides lightweight, long-lasting comfort.
May Contour Hinge
Two pivot points are specifically designed to outline both the upper and lower body of the player
May Tubular Technology
Flexible and lightweight structure retains the unrivaled strength that all May Tubular Technology is known for.
Polycarbonate Abdomen Plate
This ultra-light material provides unsurpassed strength-to-weight ratio. The May Abdomen Plate is virtually free floating; it bears no torque weight from the drum.
Transfers all the sheer and torque load only to the tubes, away from the abdomen plate, improving rigidity and stability to the instrument-creating a more reliable playing environment. By using new hinge technology, this carrier becomes one with the player and remains secure and durable enough to be used through the daily rigors of contemporary marching movement.
All MAY Monoposto and Biposto carriers can be folded to about half their original size for easy transport and protection.
Swivel Arm Adapters
This fixture allows the 10/12/13/14 drum array to retrofit to your existing Biposto tenor rail. The Variable Distance Positioning System encourages further flexibility with distance ranging to and away from the player.
6/8 Tenor Attachment
This feature allows for the 6/8 sextet configuration providing a wider range in options for the player. Another unique distinction allows the 6/8 drums to be raised or lowered independently from their encompassing drums.
MonoPosto and BiPosto carriers feature an ergonomic lightweight design. This patented design is the optimal carrier for comfort and adjustability. MonoPosto and BiPosto tube carriers are adjustable to fit the smallest student to the largest.
Adjustments can be made to the camber (left and right), Caster (back to front).
