I'm just a student but I've played on a lot of different hardware (pearl, DW, PDP etc..). I own a stage custom noveau birch set and these are the best cymbal stands I've played with. I have a 16 inch Zildjan ZBT crash And 20 inch ride on the two I have and when I play my rock stuff these stands don't shake, rattle or roll. The are worth double the pdp ones so BUY EM'

I gig 4-5 times a week, sometimes more, and these stands are perfect. They are lightweight to carry in your hardware bag/case but very, very sturdy. The boom collapses into itself for storage or if you don't always use a boom and they look great. I have been using them for sometime now on a very regular basis and they are great!

I gig at least 3 times a week , every week . I have a day job as well . I lug the stuff around myself . After a long day at work and a four hour gig the last thing I want to do is shlep a hardware bag full of double braced stands ! These things are great ! I use 4 , one holds a 17" crash and a 14" Yamaha Custom Birch tom . When I got them they were less but I would buy them again at this price . 2 years with these now and not one complaint . I will never go back to the heavy stand !!

22 Years and counting...

I have used this hardware since 1984. I used to gig up to 75 times a year, and this hardware keeps on going. All of it has some road wear and tear, but I have yet to "retire" any of my Yamaha cymbal stands (straight or boom). Do yourself a favor and buy a road case for the hardware and it will last you decades.

Excellent first choice for Yamaha Rydeen Set

The CS-745 is a quality-made single-braced "Boom Stand". Good for your splash and effect cymbals. I use it with the Yamaha Rydeen Set. I recommend it for beginners to intermediate drummers. You won't be disappointed.

I know it's just hardware, but...

I got two of these with my Stage Customs, and man, what a surprise. I thought they looked flimsy online (they are single braced), but in person these things are STOUT. The boom arm tucks into the main body of the stand for easy storage / ride mounting. I LOVE THIS. Is it worth twice as much as the Pacific stand? Maybe not, but it's damn nice on its own merits.
