PICTURES DON'T DO IT JUSTICE

Ask me a question

Comments about Fender Ukulele Pa ina All-Solid Mahogany Acoustic-Electric Tenor Ukulele:

You can get a better uke for less money, but if you want a beautiful uke that sounds good, and in my opinion is the coolest looking one on the market, then this is the one for you.
Overall a really good uke! Not many features on a uke to be honest...but the pup means that I can plug in and perform with this live with my band.
I was very hesitant to drop $300 and order this based on the negative reviews on the quality of the instrument, but since I already had the Nohea, I thought that I would stay with a uke that I was already familiar with playing....and let's be honest...the tele headstock is off the hook! Every time I play out with this people comment on that.
When I got got my Pa'ina, I was blown away! The pictures on the website don't do the finish justice! It is really a beautiful instrument! It has the same look / feel of playing a quality Taylor or Martin!
On the expensive side for what you get. You can get more bang for the buck with another acoustic-electric uke. Ultimately, you're paying for the Fender name and now that anybody who has seen Train perform "Hey Soul Sister" with this uke (or one similar to it) will want one.

A Gig-Worthy Tenor Ukulele

By KevinV

from Central Florida

Comments about Fender Ukulele Pa ina All-Solid Mahogany Acoustic-Electric Tenor Ukulele:

I'm very pleased with my Fender Pa'ina. It has a couple QC issues and needed some TLC out of the box...dress/polish frets, adjust nut/saddle to my preference, etc., but nothing that I don't expect to do with any instrument I get...especially one in this price range.I'm play 'ukulele in my band and this is one of my gigging instruments. After giving it a tweak and changing strings to my preferred set, I've got no complaints. With use the satin finish has become a nice gloss in the heavily trafficked areas, especially on the back of the neck, and is very comfortable to play. The pickup sounds good too.The soft case that comes with it isn't much more than a dust protector...plan on getting something better if you're going to carry it out much.

Not Ready For Primetime

Comments about Fender Ukulele Pa ina All-Solid Mahogany Acoustic-Electric Tenor Ukulele:

I was excited to finally get my hands on a Fender ukulele after waiting for them to be in stock for several months. Unfortunately, my excitement turned to disappointment after receiving the uke from MF. It in no way compares to similarly priced Chinese made ukes (this uke is made in Indonesia). The fret ends are rough and sharp, the finish out is sloppy, but worst of all the sound was dead. Needless to say, it went straight back for a refund.

Its nice but...

Comments about Fender Ukulele Pa ina All-Solid Mahogany Acoustic-Electric Tenor Ukulele:

The Fender Pa'ina is a beautiful instrument. Its red glow is the envy of all my friends, and it sound exactly how a ukulele supposed to sound like. Though I strongly, Very so much strongly, Recommend you get quality strings with this instrument as in a pair of strings (Aquila or Worth) to go with it. Its a complete difference with this model. Also the Fender style cutout of the head is nice.

Pa'ina Uke is Sweet but expensive!

By Anonymous

from Undisclosed

Comments about Fender Ukulele Pa ina All-Solid Mahogany Acoustic-Electric Tenor Ukulele:

This Ukulele is very well built and intonates nicely. It holds pitch fairly well. The pickup sounds excellent and is really the selling point of the uke. Ultimately I feel that this ukulele is a bit overpriced but it does exacatly what it is meant to and sounds good doing it. The fender Tele headstock is a definite bonus!
