A complete system for nylon-string guitars that captures the true sound of your instrument.
The EAS Element Active System Pickup Preamp Volume Control Nylon String from LR Naggs delivers performance previously unattainable from an undersaddle pickup. The streamlined and efficient design removes every unnecessary internal component to improve the coupling between the transducer and the guitar. This substantially improves the sensitivity of the transducer for a robust, lively and open sound with great dynamics and a delicate high end.
The Element Active System pairs the Element undersaddle transducer with a pre-contoured all-discrete class A endpin preamp and includes a small, removable soundhole-mounted volume control for added convenience and versatility. The entire system is designed to install easily and features plug-and-play performance. Also included is our battery bag for secure battery storage.

Comments about LR Baggs EAS Element Active System Pickup Preamp Volume Control Nylon String:
This undersaddle pickup utilizes a flexible, metal wrapped cable, rather than the hard piezo style pickup. LR Baggs claims this will not only capture the saddle/bridge tones, but will also include and amplify internal resonance due to the microphonic ability of the cable. After installing one for steel strings, and one for nylon strings, I can assure you this is completely correct! Both versions have resulted in phenominal, warm, rich, focused tones - but sharper than LR Baggs I Beam pickup. If you can install a piezo, you can install this. And if you are debating, this is the one to get!
