Comments about Kohala KO-S Kine'O Soprano Ukulele:

Really hard to tune well. Some of the frets are placed a bit out of tune, so no matter how well it is tuned open, when you chord it, it's off a bit. Maybe good strings would help. A step up from a toy. Pay a little more and get a quality instrument.

Comments about Kohala KO-S Kine'O Soprano Ukulele:

This is my first uke, and I absolutely love it!I named her Paka. It sounds nice, it looks good, and it's tons of fun to play. My only complaint is that my C string sometimes sounds weird, but I'm told that usually you replace all the strings it came with after awhile with newer/better strings, once you've played it for awhile. Over all I love this little ukulele.

Comments about Kohala KO-S Kine'O Soprano Ukulele:

I would highly recommend this ukulele to anyone who is just starting the ukulele. It is great for starters. It is pretty cheap, so when I bought it I ought it just to try it out. I wasnt conscerned about it being electric-acoustic or anything fancy, I just wanted to try it out and see whether I liked it before I bought it. It is pretty basic, so if you are a proficient ukulele player I would not recommend it. I ended up loving it after I bought it and I tell people all the time, "Its a nice ukulele for a low price. If you are going to learn, start with this ukulele."

Comments about Kohala KO-S Kine'O Soprano Ukulele:

This is a pretty decent little ukulele. I bought it as a beater instrument to throw in the car with me when traveling, but it has a nice big sound, and seems pretty sturdy. Tuners are tight, and once the strings stretch out, they keep intonation just fine. There a lot of flaws in the construction and finish of the instrument, and there are a number of buzzy frets, but all and all, for the price, it plays well.

            Pretty nice

Comments about Kohala KO-S Kine'O Soprano Ukulele:

Overall I reccomend this to anytone looking to start out on the Uke. I have been a guitar player for 6 years and wanted to expand my musical pallet.
Everything you expect from a good starter Uke.Comes with a book. Although I wish it came with a gigbag or something.
I gave this a 6 because although this Uke plays and sounds GREAT, there are some minor issues. The inlays on the fretboard were a little messed up.Some minor inperfections in the finish and the paint around the fretboard was messed up.Other then that the thing plays great.
Great value for a starter. Good tonewood. I was happy because its not made out of plywood.Although again, it could have come with a gigbag.
