I am a pretty critical product user so to give anything 10's is not a norm for me. After owning and using this amplifier, I don't know how I could rate it any differently. I absolutely love to grab my Taylor 410CE-L3, plop down into my easy chair, plug in a Microphone and just play and sing away. Being able to listed to my vocals and strumming with this amplifier has helped me become a better player and vocalist.
Unbelievable sound for the money on this little Acoustic amplifier. I was searching for an amplifier that I could use at home for practicing. Being able to plug a microphone and a my Taylor in at the same time to rehearse is great. The effects sound great and it takes little effort to get a vocal mic or guitar to sound great. I played several acoustic amplifiers the day I picked this baby up. Some that were known in the industry as the top performers. Guess what, this amplifier sounded better than all of them and the price tag was less than half in some cases. I love the warmth that Acoustic was able to design into this amp. I would say my only wish is that they would have thrown an XLR direct out on this model. You have to jump up to the AG60 to get that feature.
It is not too hard to determine that this Amplifier is built to last. This is one heavy duty little monster. I don't have to worry when I take it with me if it will come back the same way it left. The exterior of the unit is constructed in a way that will not only make sure it stays together but that it will look good as well. Kudos to Acoustic on making this affordable Amplifier feel like a much more expensive one.
Value is this Amplifiers middle name....scratch that, It probably is its first name. I am very budget conscious but I am also an audiophile so things have to sound good. Don't take my word for it, go plug into this amplifier and try it out. Compare it to the other amps out there that are 2-3x more expensive and see how it sounds. I wasn't even ready to buy yet but when I heard how sweet this thing sounded, I had to have it. It was the price that sealed the deal. A great sounding amplifier with these features for the price....are you kidding me! The Behringer stuff seems to be feature loaded at great prices but I have been very disappointed with quality and sound on some of their items. This Acoustic amp is the full package....Sound, Quality and Features at a great price....this is the definition of value!

The amp sounds great. It has a few effects which are fun to use. I do not like that a loud high-pitched pop emits through the speaker when the power is switched off. Musician's Friend was good about offering an exchange. Well, the replacement does the same thing. I would only recommend it to a friend with the disclosure of this annoyance.

I just wanted something to make my Washburn Acoustic/electric louder so my hard of hearing parents could hear me. I don't need to change the sound, just increase the volume. This does the job nicely.

I used to have a SWR California Blonde. It was pretty great, but it weighed a ton. Sold it before I left NYC.I recently bought an Acoustic AG30. I wasn't sure I'd like it, but I really think it's fine. Since I have a novel that has music as well, I usually do a set that has me reading and playing and I could be in a coffee shop, club, bookstore, whatever. So I wanted something small that would take a mic and the guitar. The bose or Fishman towers would be great, but not worth the output of $ right now. I want to make some money and I still have to pay off my AJ.I did a show a couple weeks ago with the AG30/M1A/AJ combo and the results were pretty fantastic. The thing you have to remember about amps like this is that they are not really like a Twin or a Vox or anything. They are about clean gain, not color and personality. THe AG30 really did the job as an onstage monitor/DI feeder. If I were to take it on tour, I'd want two. These cheaper amps from China suffer for cheap materials everywhere but the guts.If you're looking for a reasonable amp for light gigging/practice, I'd check it out.

i am very pleased with this amp, i definitely will purchase more from this brand and recommend Acoustic to others.
I love this amp, don't let the price fool you.. this is a serious acoustic/electric guitar amp.. the effects are great..i love the microphone input.. i plug my guitar into the amp along with my microphone and this is all i need to do a one man acoustic show.
the quality is outstanding.. mine is flawless.. you'd expect to pay more for something of this quality.
outstanding value, you seriously must try this amp!!!
Comments about AG30 30W 1x8 Acoustic Guitar Combo Amp:
I needed this amp for some home practice, but it easily has enough guts and quality for a moderate sized gig. If you have similar needs, you can't go wrong with this amp.
I really like the two inputs, either which will take the quarter inch plug or the XLR. The only drawback to the features is that you can't separate the effects, but I don't find that to be an issue at all since I use it for home practice. Also, to hear anything through the headphone jack, I have found that the volume on the amp needs to be turned up a lot.
The first time I heard my guitar through this amp I was really impressed with the beautiful accurate reproduction of acoustic sound from my Martin dx1 six string guitar. I'm sure that having the Fishman Matrix pickup helped, but I also use it with a 12- string Epiphone which is amplified by a Seymour Duncan "Woody" pickup. The amp continues to impress.
All things considered, I don't know where you can beat the value of this in any other acoustic amp.

Comments about AG30 30W 1x8 Acoustic Guitar Combo Amp:
I have owned the AG30 for 2 years and it has an amazing sound and features for its price range. The only downside I've found with this amp is that (and you've heard it repeated in other reviews) the effects affect both inputs which is why I marked it .5 down on features. I will also say that the effects options are very well put together although I don't use them when I sing with it. I use effects pedals to get close to the same sound. It has come in very useful in practice and also on stage. It fills the room quite nicely with (like has been mentioned in other reviews) very clean sound quality. I couldn't be happier with this amp. Over two years it has taken hits in door ways and car rides over endless miles. The controls are sturdy and don't feel like they're going to break any time soon. Over all, I'm very pleased with the craftsmanship that has gone into the amp.
Comments about AG30 30W 1x8 Acoustic Guitar Combo Amp:
I never leave solid 5s...most products are lucky to get past a 3 star rating, but I have to say this is an AMAZING amp. While it is slightly annoying that it has two inputs that are both linked to the same effects setting, it more than easily makes up for it with the array of different effects you can add. The sound is so crisp and clear and for the price; it makes even my cheapest acoustic sing. I have used it at smaller venues and it sounds amazing live - I am sure it could handle medium sized venues easily. I am thoroughly impressed and would highly recommend this amp. If that doesn't convince you, I originally ordered this for a beginner friend, but it sounded so good that I ordered one and now use it for recording in my home studio. You will not regret this purchase.
