A budget-friendly stage rig with plenty of sound-shaping options.

Now get both the Acoustic B200H Bass Amp Head and the Acoustic B115 1x15 Bass Speaker Cabinet as a package deal. With these 2 monsters in your arsenal, there's no venue you can't shake up.

    The B200H 200W Bass Head:

The Acoustic B200H professional bass amp head is designed for large club and live applications where it will fill any stage with depth and definition. Used in conjunction with the B115 bass speaker cab, the B200H is a bass amp head that will easily drive either 1 or 2 cabinets in any combination of your choice.

The 2 bass inputs are designed to accommodate both active and passive bass instruments while the Gain and Volume controls give you complete control over the character of your tone. Increase the gain for some old school rock tones, or lower it and turn up the volume for great clean, classic or funk tones. The preamp includes a very natural and tube-like compression as well as a harmonically rich distortion circuit, which keeps your tone musical—even at high volume levels. The B200H bass amp also includes a notch filter to tailor your mids, and a 6-band EQ for exact control over every nuance of your bass's tone.

Rear panel features include a parallel Effects Loop, and XLR balanced Line Out with Level Control and Ground Lift. The 2 speaker output jacks allow you to directly connect to each speaker enclosure (such as the B115 and/or B410) to maximize your tone and power.

    The B115 250W 1x15 Bass Cabinet

The Acoustic B115 bass speaker cabinet has a professional enclosure designed for large clubs and live applications. Used in conjunction with the Acoustic B200H bass amp head, the B115 cabinet will easily handle the power of your amplifier and provide wall-shaking lows and a massive bottom end. Although conservatively rated at 250W RMS, any combination of Acoustic B115 or B410 speaker cabinets may be used for larger venues.

The B115 bass cabinet features a rock-solid, tuned and ported design with heavy internal bracing, caster sockets and professional spring-loaded touring handles with rubber grips. Heavy-duty rubber feet allow secure stacking and ensure solid placement on any floor surface. Rear panel features include a recessed jackplate with parallel dual 1/4" jacks and a horn on/off switch.

Classic Acoustic cosmetics include nickel corners, black grille cloth with white piping, heavy-duty roadworthy covering material, and steel trim strips with understated blue accent color. It all adds to the durability (and legacy vibe) of this great bass speaker cabinet.

One great half stack at an unbeatable price. If your looking for a nice, mobile half stack for small gigs and general practice, than dont think twice about purchasing this set up. You will be very satisfied with the quality and workmanship that Acoustic has put into this set and to be able to offer it at a price just about anyone can afford well thats just an added bonus. I decided to reduce the size of my existing rigs and ditch the refrigerator sized cabs and old world tubed style amp heads. This was one very tough decision to make as I have used these set ups for years and have always felt there was not a single solid state head out there that could hold a candle to the quality sound of a tubed amp. Till Now ! I read as much about this amp head and dozens of other brands trying to make a decision on what to buy, Acoustic was the only company that had listed there head as a tube like quality sound and there not just blowing smoke when they say this. This amp has sound shaping capabilities that are endless, but a true TUBE LIKE sound that I have never found from any other brand of solid state head.
I can tell you that this set up and the price you will pay for it is just hands down unbeatable in my book.
I originally ordered a different set up, from one of the other major manufacturers, a brand I have used for over 25 years so when I received it I was assured it would suit my needs and I would be more than satisfied with it, man was I dead wrong on that one. I hated that set up from the time I plugged it in, till the time I shipped it back and not to mention what I spent for it.
I also used nothing but Acoustic rigs back in the 70's so my second choice was this set up from Acoustic, This was one of the best decisions I ever made and what a $$$$$ saver from ,my original purchase.
Buy one, try it out, you are going to love it.
Built like a tank, the vinyl cab cover is not the greatest but this has no effect on the sound quality. This set up will do just fine for most gigs these days. Its very well build and has a lot of great features. I would recommend this to anyone looking to get into a new set up and not break the bank trying to do so. The cab is very well build, the vinyl is nice, not the greates but who cares, I'm not driving it around town. The weight is good, easy to move, I would recommend a set of casters. The head is also very well build and easy to use for sound shaping with dial controls over slides. Both the head and cab have very good handles and heavy duty feet so the cab will stay put were you place it and so will the head.
A half stack at this price, search around and see if you can find anything out there with a quality brand name attached to it that costs as little as this does.

    B200H 200W Bass Head and B115 250W 1x15 Bass Cab Package

Comments about Acoustic B200H 200W Bass Head and B115 250W 1x15 Bass Cab Package:

I was looking for something that would give me enough power to hear myself when I play with my friends, or on stage at events. This setup brought just the thump I was looking for. It can be fely as well as heard, and I like to be felt, if I need to... I was even to hook up to it with my accoustic guitar simultaneously , and it sounded pretty good. I'm really happy with my purchase.
It's really simple, not alot of features.
Simple, clean , and built to last.
    Definitely worth the $ .

    Amazing bass amp

    By Deepvoiceguy

    from Arkansas

Comments about Acoustic B200H 200W Bass Head and B115 250W 1x15 Bass Cab Package:

I simply love this amp, a friend has the same thing and he feels the same way. Works for many instruments and easily plays the low B. Don't use distortion with the tweeter, I've heard it can damage it. I will definitely buy the 4x10 someday. Buy this amp!
I have owned this amp for about a year and I love it. I has a clip on the volume circuit which keeps the speaker safe. The frequency notch cuts 10dB at any frequency from 50Hz-2KHz. The 6 band eq is great and can make my Rogue LX205 sound slightly decent, a hard task. It has an effects loop and a direct out that I have never tried. The speaker cab has a tweeter that allows instruments of a higher frequency such as an acoustic or steel guitar. My only wish is that the cabinet had a tweeter attenuator. I also like the rubber feet that allow you to stand the amp upright.
This is a wonderful sounding amplifier and is completely reliable. The only downside is that the cabinet is made out of cheap plywood; the tolex is supposedly easy to rip, but I have never done so. Because of the tweeter and powerful eq, this can be a diverse amp. The 4x10 would probably help with that.
This amp cannot be beat for the price. There are some GKs that are slightly more expensive but lighter, but the weight isn't too bad on the Acoustic. Kustom and Behringer make amps around the same price but I have never played them.

    Bass Amp

    By Spartacusian

    from Poplar, Wisconsin

Comments about Acoustic B200H 200W Bass Head and B115 250W 1x15 Bass Cab Package:

I bought this amp a couple months ago. When I first got it, I didn?t know that it doesn?t come with a speaker cable (which is stupid I think- you?re buying a HALF STACK- should be included) so I had to buy that. When I finally was able to play, it took me a while to tune in with a tone that I liked. I?m really into John Paul Jones?s sound with early Zeppelin. I found something similar to it, and was happy for a while. Then, I hauled the amp over to practice with the group I?m playing in. It sounded great at lower volumes, but when you crank it, the tone and levels go out the window. There is a lack of headroom with this amp- it has troubles keeping up with a drummer without clipping. The gain on this amp is pretty much useless- terrible sound. When the volume starts to become loud enough, the speaker distorts, and you get this horrible crackling noise. The construction is alright- the vinyl covering was pretty sloppy on the head though. Overall, I wouldn?t recommend this amp. I was hoping for something with tons of headroom, but it barely gets the job done. When playing outside, it probably won?t cut through at all. Disappointing- I?ll probably sell it for what I can and get something that packs a punch.

    Sweet little half-stack

    By saustindavis

    from Spokane, WA

Comments about Acoustic B200H 200W Bass Head and B115 250W 1x15 Bass Cab Package:

I recently got a new bass and this amp after about 5 years of not having anything (bass was stolen, sold the amp...). I was interested in these because of the price compared to others with similar specs, and after playing on it I was not disapointed. I play at church and small gigs around town, and it is all I need. I love the DI output on the back of the head, and the EQ is wide enough to dial in just abot any tone. I love the fat bottom end you get out of the 15, but also some really nice highs because of the horn. Others may complain that it doesn't have "this" or "that", but to my ear it is a sweet amp/cab. If you are on a budget but need serious volume and tone give this one a shot. I highly doubt you will regret it.

    Great bang for the buck!

Comments about Acoustic B200H 200W Bass Head and B115 250W 1x15 Bass Cab Package:

I've only had this rig for a day. Gigged with it last night. I was nervous about only having 200 watts, so I ran a "safety" 600 watt head and 2x10 Epifani cab along side. I was able to dial in a sweet sound with this thing, my low B rattled the stage with the volume on 5. It easily kept up with a deaf guitarist running 2 Marshall tube amps, a Line 6 amp, 2 (yes 2) drummers and vocals. We shall see if it has stamina, but so far I dig the sound. Buy one!

    Freaking Amazing!!!

Comments about Acoustic B200H 200W Bass Head and B115 250W 1x15 Bass Cab Package:

The only thing i have to say about this monster is WOW!! This thing pumps i had mine at half volume and it knocked my 30 pound picture off my wall! Im playing this thing with an ESP LTD B-10 bass guitar and this amp really shakes the walls, but the best part about this thing is that it was very affordable. I was shocked at how great this thing was for what i paid. I would most defanitly recommend this to anyone who wants to shake the walls and pay a cheap price.
