Acoustic

Wall-shaking lows with tons of punch.

The Acoustic B410 bass cabinet has a professional enclosure designed for large clubs and live applications where it will fill any stage with depth and definition. Used in conjunction with the Acoustic B200H head, the B410 cabinet will easily handle the power of the amplifier and provide wall-shaking lows and massive bottom end. Although conservatively rated at 400 watts RMS, any combination of B115 or B410 cabinets may be used for larger venues.

The B410 bass cabinet features a rock-solid, sealed design with heavy internal bracing, caster sockets and professional spring-loaded touring handles with rubber grips. Heavy-duty rubber feet allow secure stacking and ensure solid placement on any floor surface. Rear panel features include a recessed jackplate with parallel dual 1/4" jacks and a horn on/off switch.

Classic Acoustic cosmetics include nickel corners, black grille cloth with white piping, heavy-duty road-worthy covering material and steel trim strips with understated blue accent color. It all adds to the durability (and legacy vibe) of this great cabinet.

The heritage of Acoustic comes through loud and clear in the B410—a seriously professional stage enclosure for serious bassists.

Features

  • Power: 400 watts power handling
  • Speaker: 4 x 10" heavy-duty speakers, high-frequency with on/off switch
  • Impedance: 8 ohms
  • Input: Parallel 1/4" input jacks
  • Other goodies: heavy-duty tour handles, damage resistant vinyl covering, caster sockets (casters sold separately)

Features:

I did not expect to get such great low ends from this thing, but i do thanks to those four great speakers! I don't get what the point of that horn is, but its there in case you want to use it.

Quality:

You cannot beat that price for this good of a bass cabinet. It's very well built, the handles are strong, the speakers make the whole house shake, and it just looks beautiful(if you ask me)!

Value:

Like I said, this cabinet is incredible for what they are asking for. You can even find it like thirty bucks cheaper at guitar center.

Overall:

You will not find another bass cabinet that blows you away with the price and quality like this one. People say you have to buy the acoustic bass head for the max power you can get out of this thing, but my old-as-hell(I'm talking the 70's old) peavey cabinet and bass head seem to go great with this. Purchasing this is probably one of the best investments i could've made for my band, and you should get one too!

Best Cab In Its Price Range

On a tight budget like me? You cannot find a better cabinet in its price range. Had it for 2 years now and it delivers quality sound. Be careful moving it around coz the covering is easily scratched. Run it with an acoustic B200 - Good but you need the Acoustic 600 head for this unless you get another cab like the acoustic 115 to get full power from the B200. If you have not got a head, get this cab with a bugera BVP 550 - saving to buy it. You will not regret it.

It was with some trepidation that I selected the B410 cabinet, but I needed a reasonably-priced 4-10" bass cab in a hurry, and the MF price was just too good to pass on. It helped that I had some experience with the old Acoustic brand back in the seventies and eighties, and hoped that some of the old mojo was still there. I'm happy to report that a year later, the B410 is tight, punchy, and still sounding like new. I drive it with a Hartke 3500 hybrid head (tube preamp w/solid state power section- my personal favorite) which puts out an honest 250w. at 8ohm. Acoustic states that this cab will handle up to 400w, but my 250w. head drives all 4 speakers quite nicely. Not sure if it would hold up under daily pounding, as I play maybe one night per week, two at the most. But for now, I couldn't be happier, and am considering purchasing a second B410 for those rare occasions which might call for a little more dispersion. A sweet cab for the money!

Clarity and Punch/Added Richness

I have been using a vintage 1973 Acoustic 370 Bass Amp for nearly 20 years.  Most recently, I've been playing it paired with a Peavey Black Widow 115 cabinet.  I recently "discovered" the reintroduction of these Acoustic cabinets and thought I would give it a try so that I would have a matched rig (truth of the matter is that I rely more on the FOH mix for my sound and only use my rig as basically a stage monitor).  In short, I was extremely surprised by how well my rig sounded with the B115 and B410 paired with my 370 amp.  The definition of my bass sound is extremely clear and punches through the mix.  Band mates have commented that my sound is much more "rich."  I love the addition of the horns that can be turned on and off... If I were to make any negative comment, it would be that it lacks the a bit of the subsonic punch I like but, then again, it is not designed for that (and, thus, the reason I like my FOH mix with the side sub woofers).  Overall, you won't be disappointed with this product and you would be hard pressed to find a better value for the price.

Overall this cabinet is a good value for a entry level bass player to get their first 4x10 bass cabinet. It sounds ok when it works but I'm not so sure how it has received as good of reviews as it has. I have two of these just for gigging use so I can keep my main gear in good condition. Well I shouldn't have bothered because after a month the horn went out in one of the cabinets. I was walking and carrying the other one when I tripped and dropped it only about a foot high and the entire side of the cabinet busted at the joint and is poking through the tolex. Not what I call quality as I could throw any of my baltic birch cabinets off the back of a moving truck and they would be fine.
