Comments about Acoustic B800H 800W Bass Amp Head:

I bought this amp because i was originally going to buy TWO of the 600wt versions. I used vintage Acoustic amps for years and upgraded to a Peavey Firebass700 and shelved my now "collectible" amps. After 10 years with the Peavey, I became reliant on the RMS power but the time came to replace it because the hours i put on it. the 800 watts delivered by this beast are un-matched. Nothing near it. the tone options, the distortion, the compression option. I run it at 5.3 ohms with 1400 watts of speakers. I bought a SECOND one just in case i need it in a few years because I dont want to ever be without this amp.

Comments about Acoustic B800H 800W Bass Amp Head:

I'll start by saying that I have played many different amps including Crate, Ampeg, Hartke, GK, Fender, and Carvin and the first time I heard the Acoustic B200H, I was blown away. I could not believe the tone and power I was getting from that amp. I bought it immediately and have been using it for about 6 years now without a single issue. The only other amp I can say I really liked was the Carvin and Fender Pro 400. I have used it to play bars, nightclubs, arenas and stadiums opening up for some major bands and always get mad props for my sound. When I recently saw MF place the B800H on sale, I couldn't help myself. I can't see where I will ever need that much power, but you can never have too much. The amp is ridiculously heavy but with all the extras, it is somewhat expected. The Overdrive and Level are really nice for getting some old Black Sabbath, Motorhead and RATM sounds. It has taken me a while to explore different tones as it has more to offer than the B200H. If you are on the fence, do yourself a favor and buy it. Acoustic has been very good to me (unlike Crate and Ampeg)and am very happy with both amps. Yes I still have the B200H. No need to get rid of a great amp. One last tidbit, I use a Crate BT215 Cab (4 ohms) with the speakers switched out to 2 Eminence Delta 15's which really match up great to both amps. I have 15 years playing experience.
