I bought the Loar LH-309 & LH-319 arch-tops with P-90 pickups. My old amp was the Peavey EFX-112 100-watt acoustic amp. My Peavey amp sounded good with my flat-top acoustic guitar with a piezoelectric pickup. However, my arch-tops with P-90's sounded like a banjo on steroids. I then got myself a V-Tone Acoustic Amp Modeler, with very little change. Then I tried the ZOOM A-2.1 Acoustic Effects Pedal, & I became frustrated. Fast forward through a hundred more youtube videos, I sensed that I might need to try a tube amp, but a quality tube amp is expensive. I saw this amp advertised on my facebook wall. When I read one of the reviews about this amp wanting to sound like a tube amp, I decided to try it. Wow! What rich tone & distortion & Loud!! My girls sound so good with the Acoustic Lead Guitar Series G120 DSP 120W Guitar Combo Amp. Thanks For A Great Deal Musician's Friend!!!

Has a great clean sound, the overdrive channel sounds great with my strat, but horrible with my Les Paul. Get the Behringer Vintage Tube VT-999 for your Les Paul. Great practice amp, and I'd use it to play out. Sounds good enough on my home recordings. Get your own chorus/delay and phase shifter though, and just use the reverb on the effects.

Comments about Acoustic Lead Guitar Series G120 DSP 120W Guitar Combo Amp:

The title pretty much says it all, if you want an amp the sounds good: pay more. If you want to make loud noise, this one will get you more bang for the buck. First off: the on/ off switch, it barks a loud noise every time you turn the amp on or off, regardless of any volume settings/ volume and gain can be turned all the way down and it will still make an annoying 'bark' when switching. Second, altho it is a 2 channel amp, it lacks independent tone controls for each channel. I didn't realize how important this was when I bought it, but soon realized that if you want to switch between a 'hi gain' channel and a 'clean' one, you MAY want to have different tone settings (I know I wish I did). I did find an effects setting that I liked (#13), and I could get a desent sound and at loud volumes with it at that setting, but overall I was not impressed and eventually sold.

Comments about Acoustic Lead Guitar Series G120 DSP 120W Guitar Combo Amp:

I have had this Amplifier for about three months. Although it doesn't have all the bells and whistles, this amp performs with plenty of sound and power for just about any venue. It DOES NOT have poor sound quality. I've been playing guitar for over 50 years and I have heard some amps with "poor sound quality" and this amp has a good dirty sound and a good clean sound. I use a floor pedal when I want something that the amp can't provide such as switching from clean to dirty sounds. The biggest problem is that it doesn't come with a foot switch. You just can't beat this amp for the money.

Comments about Acoustic Lead Guitar Series G120 DSP 120W Guitar Combo Amp:

I was okay with the sound as I would just use my pedals to get what I want out of it. The big issue for me is the hum that gets louder when you turn up the volume and treble. Im now trying to see if I can send it back to get repaired.

Mainly used in my Music room. You cannot use just any two button footswitch, most will not activate effects. The only one that i found that works is the Live Wire SFW22. Good Luck Finding One.

product used in home studio and in club. The power that comes out of this amp model actually rivals stacks, but the sound is more under control than the larger models. You can also play with a whole band and you still have room in the volume control to increase your sound and fill up the gaps left in the room

This is a really nice amp, clean sound, user friendly, and with 2 12" speakers, 2 channels, and all this for the
super low price. It's a real bargain. I have 7 or 8 other amps, but this is my favorite.

Right now, I'm recovering from a stroke 10 years ago. Started teaching myself how to play again and needed an amp. I considered small with low watts, but, saw this one as an open box deal, so........
Thus far, I am really pleased with it! Plenty of volume, decent effects, good sound. It is a heavy little dude ( around 40 lbs. but, it isn't going anywhere soon. Buy one!!!!!
