    AER

A powerful, complete acoustic guitar and vocal stage rig.

The AER Compact 60 Acoustic Guitar Combo Amp has two channels that make it possible to operate your microphone and acoustic guitar independently of each other. The dynamically controlled power amplifier and the broad-spectrum loudspeaker system guarantee distortion-free reproduction, even at high volumes.

The Compact 60 guitar amp is based on the Acousticube and is a small, powerful and yet simple complete solution for singer songwriters who perform.

This system, with its 8"-twin-cone speaker-system, 60 watts of power and fully developed dynamic control gives you great control over your live sound.

    Level control:

You can adjust the High/Low switch and the Gain control to match your pickup systems. The clip indicator shows that the input signal is too high.

    Tone controls:

The three and two band tone controls of your Compact 60 are designed to fulfill the special requirements of acoustic instruments and the general demands of other sources.
The Color switch in Channel 1 activates a mid-cut treble-boost filter that is particularly appropriate for fingerstyle techniques.

    Effects:

The Compact 60 has four integrated digital effects with pushbutton control. They include a warm hall reverb, bright hall reverb, chorus with reverb, and flanger.

An effects send allows the use of external effects.

Comments about AER Compact 60 60W 1x8 Acoustic Guitar Combo Amp:

I have been using this amplifier almost exclusively for 100+ gigs per year for over five years. It has yet to ever let me down. Huge sound for such a small and light enclosure. Makes any guitar with a decent pickup sound fabulous. A ridiculously good value. Worth every penny.

          AER Compact 60

          By Joe Cardinale

Comments about AER Compact 60 60W 1x8 Acoustic Guitar Combo Amp:

This little amp is a real monster. First of all it is light and easy to carry. When you plug it in and listen to the sound the only thoughts could be wow, how can such a small amp get such a big sound. It really is only for clean applications, primarily flat top and nylon string applications. I have not tried a pedal with it but it could be a good match??? Lots of jazz guys are beginning to use them. It sounds better for jazz applications using a small tube preamp with it to fatten and dirty the sound just a bit. Vocal are amazing with this small amp, very clean and easily loud and clear enough for a small to moderate size gig. If you want a clean amp that is portable and especially if you want vocals also this is definitely on the top of the list. The gig bag is also very nice and you can put it on your shoulder and make a quick exit without much fuss. Highly recommended!

          Awesome Amplifier

Comments about AER Compact 60 60W 1x8 Acoustic Guitar Combo Amp:

I have been gigging with this amp for 3 years. It is the best piece of equipment I have purchased for live gigs in my 6 years of performances. Constantly receiving compliments on the amazing clarity of this amp from professional musicians. Ideal set up for a singer/guitarist. Loud enough to use when playing with a band. Excellent portability due to its 19lb weight and padded carrying bag. Can't go wrong with this amplifier.

Have used it for 7 plus years now at small gigs or as a stage monitor and di at big gigs and it just keeps doing it right. Those are 60 big watts and so sweet to carry around. Perfect rehearsal rig too.

Comments about AER Compact 60 60W 1x8 Acoustic Guitar Combo Amp:

I've had one of these for 3 years now. I've played guitar with a big band and the singer sang through the second channel. The 19 lb weight and gig bag are also a plus.I did fry the output chip by walking accross the room and injecting a static charge into the amp as i reached to turn the box off. I got it repaired and it's fine now.

Comments about AER Compact 60 60W 1x8 Acoustic Guitar Combo Amp:

This little piece of heaven is a must for an acoustic guitar player. It's extremely useful and practical for gigs. It weighs around 15 or so pounds, is easy to plug up, and start a set. I play a Maton EBG808 Artist through this, and the sound puts everything else to shame. Tommy Emmanuel uses these, and for a reason, it's the best.
