Comments about Aguilar DB 412 4x12 Bass Speaker Cabinet:
I play in a couple of cover bands. Styles range from country-ish to fairly heavy stuff. This cabinet covers it all.
I power it with a Tech 21 MBE into a Crown XLS 1000.
Got to play a reasonably large venue this weekend and it handled everything I threw at it with NO problems. Zero.
All I could do all night was listen to how great it sounded.
Awesome mid range presence. Punches right through the mix! My band mates loved it. You can hear every note played(good or bad)!!
I like it better than my Ampeg 8x10. I also use a Hartke 2x10 paired with a 1x15 cab.
This thing just smokes both of these and I thought the 8x10 couldnt be beat.
Course it's really going to be up to your ear.
But if you want to know if it is worth chancing...go ahead and jump. I really dont think you're going to be disappointed. Then again, there's always that one guy...
The only downside to it is the weight but they look and sound so freakin awesome I dont want to bring the lighter cabs!
The casters are great but nothing beats a dolly.
Anyway, this was my first experience with Aguilar and I am officially a fan.
