Who needs 15's?

Comments about Aguilar GS 112NT 1x12 Bass Cabinet:

These little cabs are amazing. Having used EBS cabs previously, these (I use two) blow them out of the water! Light enough to carry with one hand, hence the single spring loaded handle, I would never go back to a bigger cab as these dont lose anything over the big boys (probably due to clever port tuning) Deep lows and nice mids with plenty of top for an authentic, old school bass tone. For funk/slap I would go for the model with the horn, but I didn't want that sound. Top notch, rugged build. Overall unbelivable value at the price.

Big bottom!

Comments about Aguilar GS 112NT 1x12 Bass Cabinet:

While not quite as small as I was hoping for, this relatively lightweight cab has spectacular tone and mellow, deep bottom. It's incredibly loud with my old GK 400RB and is perfectly matched with that amp. I'll use it for my country gigs but I feel pretty confident it could handle almost any style of music in a small to moderate size venue. However, if you are looking for a really little cabinet, this ain't it.The photos on almost every website I checked give the impression that the cabinet is a lot less deep than it is - it gets close to be the size of my Ampeg 4X10 if you laid it on its back but it is a LOT lighter. To be fair, the dimensions are clearly noted everywhere I looked, so I really can't blame anyone but myself.Bottom line: if you want a moderate (but not small) sized cabinet that is fairly easy to lug, has fabulous tone and deep bass, go for this.

Aguilar GS112 NT

Comments about Aguilar GS 112NT 1x12 Bass Cabinet:

After researching bass cabinets for nearly a year, I found the Aguilar GS112 NT to be the best value around. Size is deceiving. The bass response can only be described as "fat and juicy", unlike other much larger cabinets with multiple 10" or 12" speakers that I've tried. The dual ports provides silky smooth lows without distortion. The GS112 NT cabinet is no lightweight and is heavy for a cabinet its size. The only thing Aguilar could have done better is to include two recessed spring loaded handles (The GS112 NT only has one.) I'm thinking about buying a second one, but so far, I haven't needed it. Amazing.

The Perfect Bass Cab!

By Dano-37u5t

Comments about Aguilar GS 112NT 1x12 Bass Cabinet:

The best tone of any cab I've played through in 36 years of playing. Nice and fat, no muddiness, no need for a tweeter IMHO. Light, portable, killer sound. What more could you want!

Big sound in a small package

By Gary-WwdyQ

from Hudson, NH

Comments about Aguilar GS 112NT 1x12 Bass Cabinet:

After researching bass enclosures for months, I bought the Aguilar GS 112NT. The cabinet is actually deeper than it is wide or tall, and ported such that it delivers a "fat 'n' juicy" bass sound unprecedented from a small, single 12" enclosure. It's perfect for small venues, but powerful enough for larger ones. The price makes it the the best value I'm come across. The construction is rugged, to say the least. The cabinet is quite heavy, but is equipped with one heavy duty springloaded handle. My only criticism is that Aguilar should have added a second handle.
