Comments about Ampeg Pro Neo Series PN-410HLF 850W 4x10 Bass Speaker Cabinet:
I use 2 of the 4x10 Ampeg Pro Neo cabs with an SVT4PRO amp. It sounds great. I play in a 3-piece Classic Rock/Blues Band and those cabinets really fill a room. I used origanal SVT amps and the SVT 8x10 cabs for many years and they sound great don't get me wrong, but oh my aching back! The Pro Neo cabs are a great alternitive. They sound great, and can really handle the power (850 watts per cab at 8 ohms). I bridge my SVT4Pro to get the most watts out of it and then daisy chain the 2 cabinets to make a 4 ohm load. I am very pleased with these speakers. You can slap or pluck strings and play chords with no distortion. The definition of note playing at high speeds and even in the lowest register is fantastic(can you tell I like these cabinets yet). These cabinets are a little pricey but think of all the money you'll save on Physical Theropy and ice packs.
Comments about Ampeg Pro Neo Series PN-410HLF 850W 4x10 Bass Speaker Cabinet:
I've only had this bass cab for three weeks and it will rattle the rafters, and blow the doors off. Flat out drown out my drummer, if you need to do that lol, shake all the pics off the wall and empty your ashtrays. I don't usually play wide open, just a good stage volume, and DI to mains. This cab fills the stage and that's what I like.
The best feature is the power to weight ratio is outstanding. My last Ampeg bottom was the P 410 at about the same price, and power...this cab rocks at 60 lbs.
I bought this as a S&D more or less, and it still had the new tags hanging on the handles, a minor scuff on outter right corner, added some black marksalot, looks great. One thing I have noticed on some of these cabs marked down are cracks, which look like some one threw them off a truck.
The quality of my cab to play threw is awesome. Great tone, and handles the wattage.
I haven't have it long, but plan to use it frequently.
Every thing bass that puts out the tone is high priced, and this is Ampeg.
Comments about Ampeg Pro Neo Series PN-410HLF 850W 4x10 Bass Speaker Cabinet:
Light weight, awsome tone, loud as all out, looks killer. I've ownded all kind of stuff Genz, SWR, GK, other ampeg. This is the best rig I have had. Got it teamed with a PN115HLF and the SVT7PRO. EPIC!
